I contacted Steve and he is making a lowrider now for this knife. There is no better source IMO.
That said I have his clips on every spyderco I own that don't have a factory fold over wire clip, so I might be a bit jaded.

Really? Spyderco has it listed as 5.2oz:nccole wrote:Manix 2 XL G10 is 6.2 oz. I think you were looking at the reg. Manix 2, and not the XL which is up for pre-order.

Even though I bought 2 early, I hope KW will think about shipping me only one out of the first batch and the second from a later so that more guys can get one out of the first batch. IIRC, they did that with the M390 millies.
As an aside, I noticed that the KW site lists the weight as 5.9oz. I hope ...

Two in the hand is better than one in the bush. I will not use both, one will be a user and the second will be saved, either as a backup if I fall in love with it, or it will be returned to the market later.

One of the best knives I have is the "Carbon Fiber SuperLeaf" I cobbled together out of a frankenstein combinations of a CF SuperHawk and a SuperLeaf by doing a blade swap (Leaf blade into the CF body). I sure would love to see spyderco make this as a production blade, as I'm sure it would be a big ...

As for natural materials..... not really. I prefer the feel and look of CF, titanium, or colored glass fiber to stag or bone. Besides that, if one of my knives had wood handles..... they would crack in about 20 minutes during the humid summers I get here.
While I am also a huge fan of CF also, I ...

As I understand it, the only issue with deer antler from the US is the core is not very stable, sort of a honeycomb. I cant see why it can't be stabilized like some woods are, or the outer section used for knife scales. Gotta agree with your observation of white tales in the Norheast, I know they ...

I found my ZDP Spydies (Stretch, Caly 3, Caly 3.5) are virtual scalpels sharpened on my Wicked Edge at 30 degrees, I take them down to 1 micron strops, and hand strop them afterwards (maybe this is how I "distress the edge"?)
They are the best slicers I have, bar none. And they hold that edge quite ...

I haven't ever bought a knife with the intention of flipping it. I have had to sell some of my best ( example: S90V millie) due to things like emergency bills ( usually dog health, I spent well over $3000 on Finn's vet bills last year alone, and about $1800 so far this year). In cases like that I ...
