Re: Neil Peart, The Professor

Sad indeed. Way way back in the day, early in high school, I saw RUSH in concert. I thought then, and it hasn't been surpassed, that his drum solo was the best I had ever heard. I had no idea of how talented he was, just that it was a fantastic solo. Years later I realized it should have come as no ...

I'm with Doc Dan on this, if you are open to other options. I think a Pacific Salt SE would be perfect for what you are describing.

Re: A question for Mr Glesser and Spyderco (Clipped Manbug)

A removable clip fastened through the lanyard hole would be great on these little knives. Many of us have hoped for the option for a while. If you prefer without, you can take it off, and if you prefer a lanyard, you can then add one. I hope it happens sooner or later.

I have to work also, so it will be Ladybug Hawkbill Salt for me on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day will probably be Dragonfly.

Re: Next Pacific Salt

I assume it will be just a tad longer, and just a tad heavier, not significantly so, like the Salt 1 vs Salt 2?

Re: Next Pacific Salt

Sake pairs fantastically with sushi, and H1 pairs fantastically with Pacific Salts, PE and SE. Great news, great all around.

I'm not making unfounded accusations at all, I'm just saying for my sensibilities, I didn't want to chance it. I hope one of us got a Crazy Good Deal.

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

They were being sold through Walmart, by The Roost, which I believe is a Rakuten seller. Of course, I have no idea if there is any significance to that, but I doubt the authenticity at that price. Even if the purchase was fully returnable, I never want to give anyone selling fake Spydercos (not sayi...

Sort of a related question; on the very old Sharpmakers, where there is only one angle setting, is the setting 30 or 40 degrees?

Hobnob, what color did you use to make denim blue? Most of the ones I've seen have turned more green.

I don't have a 2 yet, I'm sure I will, but Salt 1 PE, SE, Tasman Salt and Pac Salt are all regular carries. I love them all.

Re: Sell me on the plain edge Tasman Salt 2

I really love the SE Tasman Salt. I wouldn't try this one in PE. Often I have to talk myself out of carrying mine for a long time, because I assume there must be a reason a hawkbill doesn't work for EDC, but it really does. You can do a lot of stuff with it, and it cuts like a beast.

Yep. I moved from WI in a 1978 Ford, 23 foot motorhome. I sold all my stuff, and spent 6 months living and travelling in it. I loved it.
