Re: Neck Knives? Good or Bad?

I've always wanted a Spyderco ARK, but I wouldn't wear it as a neck knife.

Re: This color combo on a knife is ugly

It's not my favorite, but I like it enough, and would often prefer anything to black and silver, given the choice.

Re: A few photos from the lake, enjoy. Wildlife.

Sorry you guys are in pain. Someone very close to me is in a similar situation. I know how difficult it can be, and I just wish it would get better for everyone.

On a lighter note, those are really fantastic pictures. They make me feel like I'm there. Thanks for posting them.

Re: Chief vs Police 4

It makes me realize I should try a Native of some sort one of these days. I'm curious how I would like the no hump design, as all my Spydies have one.

Re: Help me decide : Chicago , Ladybug, Manbug

I have no experience with the Chap or Chicago, so excluding those, if I were choosing only one, I'd say Dragonfly. It's not much bigger, but there is enough difference to make it a one knife option, and it has a clip. I also have a Lady and Manbug, and both are great. It's probably a coin flip betwe...

Re: Wow Pacific Salt is being discontinued.

I know firsthand the Pac Salt is a fantastic knife. I haven't had a Caribbean, but I am absolutely sure it is also. I don't see how the two compare at all though. Ther are several Spydercos much closer to each model to reference, at least from my perspective.

If I had to guess, I would guess about the same. Is December the release?

I don't really want to spend the money right now, but I have to get an all black SE sometime before they go away.

Re: RIP Pacific Salt

Sorry you lost it, but it is a good reason (excuse) to get a new knife. I can honestly say a Pac Salt is the one knife I wouldn't want to be without, and would replace immediately if lost. I would prefer SE, but my PE is a razor. I can't justify getting another, even though I really want an SE versi...

I love this thread. I always plan to submit an image, but see the others, and say "why bother?" Great stuff already.

Wait, what? 100 Spydies AND your girlfriend surprises you with a Rhino? You must have done something very right.

Bloke, what is that gif from? She looks like a grown up version of the girl from The Excorist. Either that or my ex when she drank, not sure which.

Re: Spyderco Gardening Knife

If you can still find a Spyderhawk Sprint Run, I think that would be perfect. It's orange, so hard to lose, and H1, so impossible to rust. You can just rinse the dirt out and be good to go. If not, a yellow Tasman Salt would be great too, just a little smaller.

ihped1, thank you very much for the awesome notebook! Your handiwork is fantastic. I will be using this with pride immediately, and for a long time.

If I can figure out how to resize my pictures I will post a couple. Thanks again.

Re: Compendium of tips for sharpening serrated knives

But, I think part of the point here is you don't need a dremel and polishing compound. Instead, I think Vivi is showing how easy it is to sharpen a SE blade with just a Sharpmaker.

Re: Compendium of tips for sharpening serrated knives

I haven't read the entire thread yet, I will, but I just wanted to say the info and demo in the first post is fantastic. Thanks, Vivi. I do love my PE Pac Salt, but I have to get an SE also.
