Re: Being bitten by knives

Sorry, not sure where it was. It was a video with Eric showing new releases.

He got better quickly, and I'm sure you are in better shape than he is. Best wishes for you to do the same.

Re: What's Cookin'?

My young (31) brother in law just had his removed also. He was miserable before, but felt much better immediately. He is still lazy though, but that is another story. Most people I know of are miserable before this surgery, then feel night and day better. I hope the same for Sumdumguy.

Re: What's Cookin'?

That sounds like a good marinade. I had chicken thighs last night, and will probably try it next time. Enjoy the new grill!

Re: Being bitten by knives

I just saw a video where the Siren bit Eric. It happens to almost all of us, and I never would wish it on anyone, but I must admit, it was kind of funny.
Sorry, Eric. 😨

I have read many great things about the Aeropress. I suppose I will have to try one someday.

I live in Northern CA also, and it will be weird without the fireworks and celebrations. In fact, I work with the local American Legion, which funds our fireworks. My hope is that everything will be twice as good next year!

Re: The Ladybug is a full size knife

I have the Hawkbill. It has enough grip, and as said repeatedly before, it is amazing how much cutting you can really do with such a small knife.

Re: Pacific Salt vs Pacific Salt 2 - differences and similarities (with pics)

Excellent, thanks. The Pac Salt 1 is one of my all time favorite knives, and everything I read makes me believe the 2 will absolutely be as good.

It looks great. I think there should be a production model like this, and also in orange, of course.

Re: heavyweight salts?

I agree with you, ladybug93. Spydercos aren't usually heavy or light, they are more often light or lighter, as compared to many other knives. I guess I meant more lightweight vs regular than vs heavy.

The light weight is one of my favorite features of the Salt lineup, but for those who want heavyweights, why the heck not?
