I have looking at this knife for two years. Knifeology 101 lead me to finally buy one. The only thing that held me back was the size. At my age, I don't need a large blade, but it carries well in the pocket without the clip. Broke it in all weekend doing lot clean-up in the mountains in my sweety ...

I like the smooth carbon fiber. The action is also very smooth. For a lockback, I can even flick it open if I care to, which I normally don't.

I have been looking at the Para 2 in standard black G10 with satin S30V blade now for some time. With all the Sprint Runs in all the various steels, I wonder how many of you are content just owning one of the original versions in S30V? I have hesitated getting one because its a little bigger than ...

Chaparral. This is just a great overall EDC for my needs.

I thinks its all been said already - The Chaparral. The only knife that can knock my Small Sebenza 21 out my pocket.

It's funny how many times it comes down to this decision. Caly 3 CF for sure. This is by far my favorite Spyderco knife. As Onionman said - I prefer the lockback design. I am also eagerly awaiting the new Chaparral (also lockback), which you may also want to take a good look at.

+1 on that. I to missed the CF version too. Threads like this one spark my hope a little, and then they are dashed when I realize it probably won't happen again.

With all of the non-washer Spydercos, gritty is often an issue.
The best way of getting them smoothed out is:
Put a few drops of alcohol in the works, work it a little.
Blast it dry with compressed air.
Do the above twice.
Lube.

Works great. The alcohol will not stain anything.
