The burnt orange is like caramel pudding on the way out of a hungry dog.
Its like the long toenails of a bed ridden witch.
Its like butterscrotch.

I’m holding out on the bodacious until it’s released in a different steel which I’m sure is coming.

Re: Price increases for 2024

I've slowed down a lot as well, and have drastically thinned out my collection. I very rarely buy run of the mill production models anymore (although I just ordered an Emerson Dragonfly with the intention of adding Flytanium titanium scales) because they mostly bore me. I want something that's spec...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Finally picked up a shaman yesterday and am carrying it for the first time today. It happens to coincide with National Indigenous Peoples Day here in Canada, which is considerably more important than what toy I'm playing with. Still not sure how I feel about the Native series' nomenclature, but whi...

Chisel Grind (Right Handed)

Ok, so what do y’all think of an A) chisel grind option and B) of it favouring right handed bias, meaning the bevels would be on the “show” side (thanks The Internet for creating a “show side” 🙄)

Endura is my weekend carry and Manbug is my weekday EDC.

Caly 3.5 or 3.5 lightweight would get some of the old guard excited. That includes me.
+1 caly 3.5 carbon fiber in white.

Re: which models would you like in a smaller version?

Hundred Pacer and Native Chief. Alternately, a no frills Sage 4 backlock in FRN would fill the gap between the Native 5 and Native Chief. Wow, yes! So, like a 50 pacer…though that suggests a more powerful venom and therefore an increase in magnitude, so maybe actually a 200 pacer? The thread below ...

Maybe you could leave it at your local coffee shop. In the tip jar.

Re: Jim Green boots?

You’d hate Aldens David. I picked up a few pairs of used Whites and love the build quality. Saw a pair of bounty hunters and fell in love with the wide double stitched welt, ended up with a lovely pair of semi dress in maroon that make every step a deliberate act. I like the weight of a nice unskele...

Re: New to knives

+1 for sharpmaker. When i first started out with collecting (the original native was my first spyderco) what i thought was ‘sharpening’ a knife was in fact reprofiling, so i would diligently reprofile a knife when it got dull (on a gatco guided system). When i FINALLY got around to getting a sharpma...

In every ‘price’ is ‘rice’, waiting and watching with a vestigial ‘p’ that it could use for anything it wants. Anything.
