Para 2 and a victorinox of some type. Add a fixed blade and a leatherman rebar or OHT for those knife heavy days.

Re: Just one problem with wire clips

I find deep carry clips in general seem to catch on things more, not sure why but I’ve only had that happen to me with deep carry? I guess it’s because they tend to have quite a bit less tension. I like deep carry on some knives but for me retention and comfort are more important factors. I also va...

Re: Para 3 Lightweight?

I think you just have to adjust your expectations slightly. It will feel slightly different for sure. That being said, I think it's gonna be sweet. And I can't wait. I held off on the original pm3 because I have and love the pm2, but I think this different version will entice me to buy!

I like the Salt 2 or the Pacific Salt. Something you don't have to worry about rusting.

I do pretty well. A PM2 is very easy to open gloves or not.

I would love a line of kiwi's that hit lots of price points and a lot of handle materials. FRN, Steel, Titanium, Raffir Noble, G10, Micarta...etc...

I have mixed results with sharpening, but I love to see what works and what doesn't. Strops really changed the game for me.

Re: How often do you carry a fixed blade?

Pretty much every day. I work where I'm probably 50-60% in an office and the rest of the time outside in the backcountry. I love a small (3" - 3.5") fixed blade carried appendix style owb horizontal. I have several I'll carry this way, but my most recent is a mule team 5 in 9Cr18Mo that I finally ju...

I'm down with using an aftermarket clip to get deep carry performance. I think it's kind of fun that we have so many options.

Re: Are we already feeling the effects?

Fine by me. Clears up the clutter and people can post about the Spyderco knives they have instead of complaining about how long it's taking for <insert upcoming release here> to come out. Yeah we’re an obsessive group when something isn’t available yet. Speaking of which, where’s that Bow River??? ...
