For all the hate on the Tenacoous. It can take a beating on a chain link fence.

I was cutting the weeds like I usually do, and my trusty Spyderco Tenacious took a good beating trying to cut and hack all the overgrown weeds on my chain link fence. The hate for the Spyderco Tenacious is ignorant. OK, yeah. It might cost less because it is outsourced, but somebody still has a job ...

He uses a linerlock Leatherman Multi-Tool halfway through the youtube video.

OK, I finally found a good reason why a linerlock should be strong.

I made a thread asking if you can batton with the Spyderco Tenacious, and some people said yes, but for the most part if you use a knife the proper way you wouldn't even need to worry about the linerlock. Well, this guy in this youtube video actually scrapes a piece of wood with the back of his knif...

Cool, you are never too young to learn the proper way to use a knife. Everybody will eventually use a knife, no matter what.

Yes, I always do. This is my second lineerlock knife, and I want to know how much pressure I can give the knife if I ever had to use the spine of the knife for what ever reason.

Whelp, I just customized my Spyderco Tenacious with the pocket clip tip up.

I gave the knife a few good wacks on the backspin of the knife to test the linerlock and it passed.

Good to go.

First impressions of the Spyderco Tenacious.

Whelp, my Spyderco Tenacious just came. I am very surprise how great the quality is. The blade is super sharp right out of the box. I was cutting things so small, wow. I already notice my thumb is sore already from the hole on the blade though.

To be honest, I just posted my response based on the thread title alone.

Are there background checks for buying knifes in the mail?

I ordered a knife from Amazon, and it took literally four days for it to actually be shipped.

I think ever since man invented the fist shape edge to cut anything with they carried it with them 24/7. I think man's natural instincts is to carry a knife on them 24/7 now.

This guy, fredhart on youtube talked about using his Spyderco Delica 4 in the bathroom. I can't believe how honest he was that he would use a knife on the toilet. I would never use a knife on a toilet for obvious reasons, but hey, to each their own I guess. lol. Spyderco Delica 4 Long Term Use Revie...

I have to say, new knife shopping was fun, but it actually made me tired looking for a new knife. After awhile, all that fancy stuff they add to knives to make it better is great, but it also just adds to the cost to the pocket knife which just gets in the way of what a knife is suppose to actually ...

I have sharpened leatherman blades and never been too impressed with them. the blade is pretty fat and comes into the cutting edge pretty steep. A spyderco is going to be nice and thin above the edge and cut a whole lot easier. The Tenacious and Manix are priced different for a reason. It can be ha...

Hope you like it :) It's a good way to start, to be sure. Thanks. I will give my most honest opinion when I get it. I own a old style Leatherman Wave Multi-Tool, which is one of the best pocket knives I own, and I got a Leatherman half-straight and half-serrated pocket knife which I can't keep an e...
