Often: Cheese, bread, fruit, meat (for bbq or meal), opening food bags, envelopes. Sometimes: Rope, string, carving a spoon while camping, carving. Rare: Cut seatbelt to free someone once, and just for jogging safety from mtn. lions up here in the Sierras. As we're on this topic and seeing I use my ...

I am waiting for the Trakker. And maybe, since the handles had some production problems the updated handles can be slightly 3D like the new 3D native will be. Not much, just 1 or 2 millimeters of 3D'ness on each side would be great; ehh?

Hi Joyce,
Carlos said on BForums that the Trakk'r isn't on the production schedule yet; I was wondering if you could tell what is on the production schedule, and how long on average is a knife's life in production before it is officially released? thanks, -Aaren

Thanks Carlos, Do you guys know any of the statistics and measurements on it yet? I noticed on one of the models it allows for tipup/down/left/&right. I hope that function will still be in place. -aarenb

Ocelot / Trakker

I would like to see the Ocelot/Trakk'r with a compression lock, a 14 mm hole, and a "blade edge" of at least 3". Are these in the plans? When is it coming out? Edited by - aarenb on 10/9/2002 8:50:44 PM <a href="/forums/attachmentarchive/6093-7-ocelot1.jpg" target="_new...

Howdy, Is it possible to put a full flat grind on a knife like the Progrip style blade? What would be any disadvantages? This is what I would like to see if possible in the future. -Aaren

Howdy all, 1. Sometimes carry lanyards on all knives. 2. Varies; but now about 2' 3. Now 'bout 1.5' 4. Generally find 2mm cord good. 5. I have used: square knot, fisherman's, noose, larkshead, monkey's fist, bowline, and mooring hitch if remember right. 6. Carabiner, sewn pocket loop. A while back I...

Hi Ken, Ya, the cobra hood and the compression lock go together very well. When clipped to my pocket (the wire clip is very strong and holds tighter than the other spyderco standard clips in my opinion) I like the cobra hood because I can either choose to pull the knife out of my pocket so it opens ...

Hi all, I think one of the funniest signatures I have seen is a quote from Chuck Cmassicotte, which is his mantra: "Spydie is good, Round is all - Life is Round, Life is Good, Spydie is Life is Round is LIfe. Round and Round, and Round forever." Good one Chuck <img src="smile.gif"...
