Re: Spyderco H1 line expansion!

That is a good diving knife but not for swimming. There is a need for a dedicated swimming folder, H1 steel and super strong pocket clip.

Re: Spyderco H1 line expansion!

I just ordered another pacific salt for the time being. my problem is with the retention of the clip, I clip it to my swimming shorts and thats how I carry it all summer, swimming and jumping in the water pretty much every day, I hope I will not loose this one, a dtent on the pocket clip might impro...

Re: Spyderco H1 line expansion!

My experience with backlocks without liners is that they will get up and down play with hard use. Spyderco makes their g10 backlocks with liners, g10 is stronger than plastic. The pins will eventually wiggle their way to get some blade play. Not to mention that if you squeeze the handles hard enough...

Re: Spyderco H1 line expansion!

Great news guys, thank you. I don't know much about this lc200n steel, how does it compare to H1?

I am thinking of getting thee Autonomy for now and sending it to a friend to regrind the blade. It will loose the coating but what can you do, I don't like the orange g10 version.

Re: Spyderco H1 line expansion!

I am asking for something that the current line does not have, except for the autonomy which I think has liners. IMO plastic with no liners is just edc friendly, it's not built for heavy duty tasks, otherwise why do the higher end spyderco backlocks have liners? The current line needs a strong knife...

Spyderco H1 line expansion!

Hello everyone, Been a while. As usual I come with requests lol sorry Sal :D . I have been out of the knife world for a while, didn't follow the new stuff for about a year and a half or so, but I have been carrying, using and adding knives to my collection. I am very happy with the Lava, I pushed ha...

Re: Spyderco Autonomy

If it didn't come out then it would be a huge disappointment. I am disappointed with Spyderco and other major knife brands as it is, for leaving behind the auto and balisong market, it is like they gave up to the general perception of the sheeple that these are ''dangerous'', letting them win inste...

Re: Shot Show: Aqua Salt Video - Janich

I think I read a comment from Sal that H1 fully serrated holds an edge better than any other steel, so I usually go with fully serrated, but I definitely want to grab this one. Great video.

Re: Spyderco Autonomy

As a huge fan of Spyderco's H1 line, this one is a must have for me. My question is, will this come in any other blade shapes or just the sheepsfoot? Guess that will depend on two things. The first would be whether or not it's physically possible, whether the blade sits deep enough in the handle to...

Re: Japanese Factory Dissapointment.

This thread really has me freaking out a bit. My wife just dropped $140 on a Double Bevel for me as part of our 20th wedding anniversary. She has it at home while I am in Virginia. She will be bringing the knife to me next month. I hope its not sitting in the box all gritty, waiting for me to be di...

Re: Japanese Factory Dissapointment.

Yeah the Japanese factory lacks in quality compared to the others, I think Spyderco only sticks with them because they don't sell their steels to protect the production in Japan and a little bit because of pride too since the first Spyderco came from Japan. I think Spyderco should put a little bit m...

Black Pacific Salt Serrated Coating?

Hello,

I saw Spyderco is coming out with a black coated Pacific Salt fully serrated and I am definitely going to get one. My question is what kind of coating does it have, is it DLC?

Thanks

Hi Sal, I am sure I will come up with something to change the color. So, I guess there is no chance to see this knife go to regular production in G10? It is a shame because it seems to impress people more than any other Spyderco I have, actually after I showed it to my friends, two of them ended up ...

I would like to thank Sal and Spyderco for making the new Lava sprint, I hope the sales didn't disappoint and I hope this amazing knife goes to regular production again. As for the knife, it is everything I expected from Spyderco, great quality. The only thing I don't like about it, or I should say ...
