Sratches

I have the uncoated blade and a Mike Sastre sheath and don't find more scratches than with any other knife.

Mike Sastre Sheath

I just got my Mike Sastre sheath for the H1 Warrior and it is perfect for concealed and open carry.

I find the Spec Ops sheaths overly large and noisey. I suppose they work well with combat gear.

So what would make my Warrior perfect? I'd like to replace the plastic scales with rough canvas ...

Tribune
Just out of curiosity what is you opinion of the book. Mike worked his butt off and we did at least three major edits and a few minor edits here and there. We could have done a couple of more but enough is enough. Was the history what you heard through the grape vine and were there any ...

Two exceptional folders

I'm not much of a lock back fan but I've made an exception for the Manix. Superb knife. Large but extremely ergonomic. Big blade but a great slicer with a strong but sharp point. I do not know of another American made large folder that provides this much quality for such a reasonable price.

The ...

I think you'll find the 204's triangle stones too wide. I found the round "dog bone" ceramic sticks to be the perfect size to touch up the edge on the Rescue Hook. That said, I haven't found this "knife" to be of much use. Traded mine.

I usually carry a Camillus CUDA Maxx and a Civilian for SD and a third knife as EDC utility but it is also SD capable.

I have to disagree with the first post. I have found the USPS to utterly reliable, much more so than UPS.

Some one whom has both should do a comparison. Based on the two Sebenzas I used to have I agree with your comments.

Too old for the draft this time.

However, if they needed me that bad, I'd be taking my Randall 1-6 the knife I took the last time (1966-68) and my G-10 Harpy to open MRE's and packages from home.

Please be aware that even trying to carry a "plastic" knife, yawara stick, etc. on board a US aircraft will get you in trouble.

For all around use I prefer a recurve slightly dropped point. My ideal would be a cross between the BM 710 and MT Amphibian.

As a second blade I find a hawkbill to be great.

I've seen a lot of posts here and at other Forums about the tang. Sal provided a detailed description and a forum user took a Perrin apart and provided more info. These users were looking for info because they were planning on replacing the exisitng handle with wood.

I don't see any reason to ...

Recommended MBC Books

I realize there are tapes for the Civilian and Gunting but prefer books because I travel a lot. What MBC books are recommended? Anything specifically for the Gunting?

How about a fixed blade like the Perrin or Temperance or wait for the new Ronin to be released soon.

Have a hawkbill blade? The Spyderhawk is just out.

Go for that Military. The tip is plenty strong. Strong as or stronger than most other "tactical" folders in this size range. Certainly as strong ...
