The only blades i carry in my pockets are keychain knives, my dfly, or my new lightweight ukpk. My larger blades i carry at 230 or 3 o'clock inside my waistband. I just find that larger blade clutter up my pocket and get in the way of my hands, phone, and regular movement. I find a blade at my side ...

I sliced the end of my thumb while clearing a jam in one of my .22s with my tenacious... that knife has caught me more than any other... and it came scary sharp

These have been getting a lot of attention here recently... im gonna have to pick one of these up to continue my basic spyderco collection...for some reason the pink one keeps calling to me lol

purdy colors... :p i kind of like the direction they are going in with all of the new colored handles in the E4s and D4s as well as the yellow for the salt models... i just ordered a blue ukpk and a blue ffg endura... i guess the black gets old sometimes... I am looking forward to them very much

What was wrong with them? I'd buy an ugly factory second pm2

i carry a persistence a few times a week... also my g10 dragonfly

i was just wondering if anyone had a pic of these knives next to each other so i could get a overall size comparison of them. Thanks :)

the dragonfly with fill your had alitte better also and should give you better control... love my g10 version

I am really leaning towards on of the new ffg enduras ... plus i like the colors to choose from... right now im thinking blue

a new 3+ inch spyderco folder which would you choose...

That is really my only requirement so far and I'm just looking for ideas...i do prefer liners but thats not a requirement by far... :spyder:

so what do you guys like in this area and why?

i use chrome but when i want to go to spydercos website i just open explorer ... good thing the forum works on chrome !

Ive read that article too and just assumed that G10 was just as good in most aspects as the new stuff. The other applications probably need a better material... but at im sure an increased price... so if G10 does everything the new stuff does and spyderco is set up for g10 why change? my knives dont ...

i love mine too... i picked mine up for 70ish dollars on amazon about a month ago... when i check there again about a week later they were going for 125... now they are back down to 75... weird

i buy alot of my knives on amazon because i can usually get free shipping and decent prices... i just recently found a shop in my area that i still need to check out

I bought the g10 model more as a gift to myself, but if i was worried about price or simply function the frn would have been fine. I also personally prefer liners but thats just a me thing, no real reason.

same blade steel, handle material, and country of origin... looks like whatever catches your fancy should work great... i have the Ten. and Per. and love them both... thought about buying a cara cara recently but decided to get one of the new ffg endura 4s so thats what im saving up for

I need to find a dry lube... i just use a rag to apply a bit of wd40 on my blade to protect them from sweat mainly... but they always come out of my pants with a bunch of lint lol

i dont really see the need either for a multi tool or SAK type spyderco ... but being the college student i am got me thinking...if they can make those flat style bottle openers for the bottoms of shoes why not build one into the scales of a knife...it would be flat and would not stick out to catch ...

I usually always have either my grasshopper or byrd finch (same size as ladybug) in my pocket... I don't like keeping them on my keys either... But I find myself using my little knives a lot... The finch was def worth the 10 bucks I spent on it
