I don't use drugs (except coffee) or prostitutes, but adults should be able to decide these things for themselves, not be constrained (treated like children) by government. Same thing with knives. The word is liberty.

What's the best foldable camping saw?

Hey, I know this was covered briefly somewhere a few weeks ago but couldn't find it again. I am looking for a lightweight, folding saw for hiking trips. Since Spyderco does not make them, I'm wondering what brands cut the best.

If you have a great foldable saw, what is it?

Thanks

Thanks, guys. The Endura is much better now, without any drastic surgery. Just kept opening it a lot, and using the Tuf glide. I guess it just needed to be broken in a bit.

New Endura opens stiff

I Just recieved a new Endura 4 with the blue FRN handle. Out of the box, it opened so stiffly that it took two hands. I tried loosening the pivot screw, which didn't help, so I tightened it up again. Then I drowned the pivot area in Tuf Glide. Then I opened and closed it a lot. This helped some, but...

I would buy one in a minute. I really like H1, as I get my knives wet a lot.

Beautiful knife! If it didn't have a clip, it would be perfect.

Torx bits

I have 5 Spyderco knives, and it looks like I'll be getting a lot more. :D I am wondering what the common sizes are for the torx screws in the clips, scales and pivots. Thanks!

Spyderco at the movies

I've gotten the round-hole-knife addiction recently. I am wondering if any of these beautiful knives have been featured in films. What Spyderco knives have you seen in movies? :spyder:

Thanks-

Thanks for all the info on steeling. I think I'll stick with stropping my harder steel blades.

Steeling the edge?

You know how chefs will 'steel' their knives before use to straiten out the tang? I know how to sharpen my knives on stones, and how to strop, but I've never used a steel. Does anyone do this, and is it worth it?
