James Keating's Drawpoint series were the first video's that I actually took the time to practice. They are well laid out, with a good drill progression. Probably the single best source for reverse grip instruction, short of extensive training with an experienced instructor. There is one speed bump....

Well done Mr. Blonde! Push forward and figuring it out for yourself! Some people say they have trouble getting SE's to cut through clothing woven with heavy fibers, like wool. Supposedely the serrations will snag. . . . I have not carried out an experiment yet. (come to think of it, I have only part...

O.k. here is where to look for starters. . . www.cssdsc.com The fella that runs that sight is George Denson, who filmed a lot of Bram's Video's, including the most comprehensive Gunting video series. The forum there, is a good place to find out when and where seminar's are happening. Hope this helps...

It's a great blade. I have one of the the G-10 versions, which is flat ground. That makes it a little thin, especially for a such a long blade. I would be a little concerned with the blade snapping. On the other hand, flesh is not renowned for it's density. If you don't twist or bend your blade agai...

Clearwater Gunting Seminar Review
Clear Water Gunting Seminar Review Review of Techniques. We covered the Horizontal-Vertical techniques 1-5. I've always known that there was about a half dozen ways to follow up any of these techniques. Once you've planted a guy on the ground, it's pretty easy to do with him what you want. But now I...

Smoothing the edges of a Drone?
I was at a seminar this weekend and managed to scrap open the knuckles of my training partner pretty good with my Drone. I've noticed before that the "blade" on my drone is cut nice and round but the edges are not rounded over much. By contrast, the "blade" on my CRMIPT is very r...

Brandon, I'm going to tell you about closing the Gunting, but you need to pay attention because it can a little scary. If your holding your open Gunting in your hand in the traditional forward grip, with your thumb on the lock. This is the important point, your forward most finger, usually your inde...

was me! On another day, it will be someone else, but today it was me! Met Bram at NYC Custom show on Friday. I've been to one of his seminar's before so,of course, I was anxious to train with him again. I knew that he was going to train some ATF and SS agents the following day. So how does a neophyt...
