Re: K390 in Golden made spydies ?

Sorry but I just have no love for the Police 4 no matter the blade steel. The Para 2 in K390 would be a must buy! Love the Urban in K390 and any other steel.

Re: 2018 Alistair Phillips!

Love this the way it is (except for the s30v) and will buy for sure when it comes out. If Spyderco makes a 3" slippie, and I hope they do, I would get that also!

Re: More Urban Sprints Please

K390 Urban is the best value folder Spyderco released...ever. It’s my all time favorite city carry, compact, super light and the ergos are perfect for my hand. One of Sal’s best designs IMO. From time to time I grab my N690Co Urban which has a stronger split spring.Way stronger and that amount of C...

Not long at all! Once I have a new one in hand, I start thinking about the next one, and will it be the one! It never is, but I keep searching.

And yes, we all need help.

Mine was the same, so much so that I could not open it with one hand at all. After opening it two handed about 100 times it smoothed right out and now works fine; just give is a little time. A great knife and super sharp!

For years I was a books dealer and had hundreders of boxes to break down and used my different Spyderco's to do the job, but found the cardboard very hard on the blades. I went with the old box cutter as above and it worked better and faster and did not mess up my edges. Today if I have a box or two...

I also have and love an C95 Manix, M4 would be great but so would 52-100. This is the same as the SR-101 steel that is used by Swamp Rat Knives and it is great steel, in a 4mm blade it would be hard to beat.

I want a C95 Manix but with solid liners as thick and heavy as the Gayle Bradley and you might as well make in M4!
