The Police is an older design but is still is leading the way in terms of the handle size/thickness ratio along with blade length and ease of carry, truly a classic , you wont go wrong with a police.

Hmm from an *engineers* point of view the comp lock is great ..but from a user POV its seems to be lacking .... as you have said ...

That is really nice it really brings together the new school spyderco lines and the traditional wooden scales with bolsters in a classy looking way.

It would be interesting to see a Schempp design specifically aimed at SD, i do agree the ergonomics and handle designs are so good on his knives that they make excellent SD choices already, the persian is just outstanding all around IMO, the combination of design and quality materials and manufactur...

Hunterseeker i agree with you about the knife in hand idea , my first and only spyder for many a year was the police i never handled anything that felt better in hand until i got hold of the persian so now i am back to the looking around for something "better" than that....no luck so far :...

Sweet knife it is a good candidate as a gents edc with a good dose of extra performance got to love the lines in this and the police absolute classics.
