The Police is an older design but is still is leading the way in terms of the handle size/thickness ratio along with blade length and ease of carry, truly a classic , you wont go wrong with a police.

Now you have to choose SE or PE, have fun.

The only thing i would like radically changed up is to have the deeper finger guard that the Schempp knives have incorperated throughout the range, i know its not part of the spyderco look so its a no no, i will just have to settle for the Schempps they are always top notch. I just remembered a thre...

Hi there I am in the UK , here is my take on things here. The violent crime, mugging and robbery figures for the UK are very underestimated, the Government has been consistantly criticised for their biased untruthful methods of counting and classifying crime data for at least the past ten years that ...

Nice score with the barong, it was not a big seller but it will likely be an increasingly sought after spyder in the collectors market IMO you got a good deal.

It is very difficult to break the side window of a car , i locked my keys inside years ago and had to borrow a hammer to bust the glass, i did see on tv though a trick criminals use which is to use a small jagged crystal type stone (real small maybe only 1/2") those guys would keep a suitable p...

It would be interesting to see a Schempp design specifically aimed at SD, i do agree the ergonomics and handle designs are so good on his knives that they make excellent SD choices already, the persian is just outstanding all around IMO, the combination of design and quality materials and manufactur...

Hunterseeker i agree with you about the knife in hand idea , my first and only spyder for many a year was the police i never handled anything that felt better in hand until i got hold of the persian so now i am back to the looking around for something "better" than that....no luck so far :...

beautiful blade. I wish I had more experience with that kind of lock, I'm not sure how strong it is. The design of the compression lock is extremely strong the problem here is its placement on the back of the knife handle and ease of accidental opening of the lock by catching it with your thumb, no...

I cant see spyderco ever making a RIL endura i also doubt that any RIL has greater strength than a quality lock back i think if you look around on the web you will find some guys that have done tests and all of the RIL locks failed under relatively light loads (the thinned section of the TI scale bu...
