A. I'm not ignorant, and I didn't compare problems, I compared solutions. I'll spell it out in even more simple language: I was comparing your solution to large numbers of disengaged youth to Gaddafi's solution. B. I get just as pissed off by people who undercomplicate complicated issues, from a na...

My first Benchmade was the mini grip. I bought it in US in about 2004 for $60 IIR - they now seem a bit pricey - But I suppose they're still worth it. Full liners, axis lock - mines been back once for repair, an omega spring failed. Came back with new omega springs, pocket clip, scales, washers...in...

You really think it's that simple? I'm sure Kaddafi thought the same thing. Again, you really think it's that simple? It's not 1955 anymore. Whew. Hard to edit down 5 paragraphs of pedantic crap, but I think I hit my high points. Nah, still crap buddy. Comparing these UK riots to what’s happening i...

Our great depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars, but we won't. We're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off..." ...so we will all contact each other on our £600 iPhones a...

The "riots" were not political or social gripes, they were opportunist thieving cowards. One shot to the head of any one of these rats would of had them all them scarpering. We should be able to arm and protect ourselves in this country.

Just my 2p...

And, for the record, I am not a mod, nor did I edit his post. He edited it to note that I'd posted essentially the same response while he was typing his. Same thing had happened, the other way around, a few days earlier, hence my comment in a post later in that thread. Sorry, I thought the number o...

What do you mean none the wiser? The way you phrase this makes it sound like nobody was helpful in answering your question, yet this couldn't be further from the truth. If you read the thread, your question was answered and you even replied later by saying you'd like to say "Hello" to the...

I don't understand 'sprint runs' really. But I'm only a newbie here, may well be missing something. When in USA a couple of weeks ago I saw a small Spyderco knife that looked nice for a UK EDC. I bought it after a mess with it and the shop give me a certificate of ownership, wondered WFT it was so I...

Sorry to digress a little: Is G10 asbestos based, and how do we know it's dangerous - Is there any evidence/examples of it being dangerous and is there any risks or cases of anybody directly becoming ill with it. I'm not disputing it is risky stuff to work, it's just I'm wondering what the danger is...

Spyderco Squeak.

Simple pic of my latest purchase - My other Spyderco's could be too marked for this type of pic. A nice little pocket folder for UK EDC.
