Hey, Thompson! You've got a few choices about the style of pins/bolts you want to use on your knife. I use 3/16" pivot bolts with torx screws so I can make the scales detachable. Other folks use pins or Corby bolts along with epoxy to make a more permanent bond. Each of these methods use sligh...

Edit: After looking at more tutorials, I think I have everything figured out. I missed a few pages of this thread which had the info I was looking for. I'm looking into buying a mule, and I just have a couple questions about what type of screws or pins you use to connect the handles? Can anyone show...

It's 100 degrees here, so I have to go light on what I carry. At least I have lots of pockets! http://i1016.photobucket.com/albums/af282/rwb1500/IMAG0186.jpg My humble little Kel Tec P32, loaded with Buffalo Bore hard cast FN +P. I've been a member on a few different forums that are for completely different hobbies. This one by far has the nicest people on it. If you think people are hostile here, try going to a gaming forum. They rip your head off for everything you do.

There's some hardcore nutnfancy fans out there. Personally, he drives me crazy how he never shuts up. But he does do some good reviews. He reminds me of Nancy Grace. And that's not a good thing...

From what I know G10 has glass fibers in it. So that's not something I would want to risk breathing in.

Dang it. I thought there was something weird about them just practically disappearing. I would still like to see another Golden made balisong sometime though.

Would anyone be interested...

Edit: I forgot about the legality of it being imported. So I'm mainly just thinking of a new Golden made bali. Would anyone be interested in a value balisong made in China like from the Tenacious line? There hasn't been a balisong in the current lineup in a while, and the discontinued ones I've seen...

Value of "S"

What would be your estimate of the value of an "S" model? The only local place that has Spydercos around me is selling one for its original msrp at $104. Would this be a good value because it's discontinued? The main reason that I would get it would be if it is going to accumulate in value.

Can you buy directly from their website? I noticed they're in yen. I went to a converter and it sounded like a pretty good price. I did hear that yen don't convert too well though.

I believe that is the notch for catching someones blade in a knife fight...or something along those lines. Seems impractical to me but to each his own i guess.

Salts with different lock

Would Spyderco ever be able to make a Salt knife with a different lock type? I love the idea of a rust proof knife, but I'm not really wanting any more lock backs. They're just not my first choice of a lock type. Would this be possible, while still keeping it rustproof?

One of the reasons for the US burying him in the sea is that no country would want to claim him, having him buried in their country. It would become a place that would attract too much attention. For religious reasons and al Qaeda going there as a memorial or something of that sort. As for al Qaeda ...
