Re: New Aqua Salt Serrated?

I have one of the new ones and the thing cuts like a chainsaw. Wondering why I didn't pick a few up when they were closing them out a few years ago. Handle is very ergonomic, though not huge if you have bearpaws. Sheath retention is fantastic, no rattle and takes good effort to remove it. Overall I'...

Re: Aqua Salt hitting Dealers!

Nice! Thoughts on sheath? I am really pleased. It fits very securely into the sheath with no rattle at all. I would attach it to my dive BC but I already have my Caspian Salt attached with zip ties. I'm probably going to carry this as a hiking/camping/fishing knife. Now if only the Rock Salt would ...

Aqua Salt hitting Dealers!

Don't get around here much anymore but thought I'd throw a notice out there for you guys. Picked up the serrated version for $97 (knifeworks) and plan on making it my go-to kayak fishing knife. I'm a sucker for H1 and this one has been on my list since it dropped from the lineup and I couldn't find ...

Bah. I'm jealous. I'd love for these to be ubiquitous enough that it wouldn't be a sin to use one.

Maybe one day these will be run again...

So it was never a standard production model? Maybe there is hope after all.

Say whaaaaa!? It used to be available commercially? Ugh, another spydie bites the dust I guess. Maybe Sal and co will bring it back one of these days. The native in all black pe is just so darn good looking! I wonder how hard it would be to just run some of the pe blades through dlc in the productio...

Black blade PE frn Native?

Haven't been on the board in a while, but I was holding one of my first (and possibly favorite) spydies tonight wondering why Sal and co never offered it in a black bladed plain edge variant. For years I have wanted one and wondered why it was never put into production. I can't imagine the demand fo...

Forum knife quality control

What's up gentlemen (and ladies)! Been gone for a good while, spending $ on other grown up tools, but had to jump when I saw the forum knife. Got it in the mail today and I have to say, the fit and finish on this thing are really insane. I've had lower and higher end spydies, but this thing is put t...

They will send you back your knife in the same condition. It's perfectly normal, s30v shows grind lines a bot more than other steels. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah it's pretty weak. I wanted my fiancee to have it in her purse for her commute home at night but after looking into it I found out it's illegal. Fixed blade with length under 4" is legal (concealed). Slip it with blade under 3" is legal. Deep carry of any locking folder is illegal (you will be in trouble if you're caught). Pepperspray is illegal to carry. Those are facts, how you recognize them is up to you. Manhattan resident for ...
