Re: American Sniper
Book was good...hated the movie. Cooper did a good job though. What didn't you like about the movie? I was thinking about seeing it this weekend. This is my opinion...and only mine. I felt the directing was off and some of the scenes were extremely cheesy. I was 100% in on 85% of the movie.....You ...

Re: Question regarding the packaging and boxes
I hate to chime in here.....But I have bought five Byrds in the last few months from Amazon and all had the tape that keeps the box closed like regular Spydercos......more were loose then were in the little baggy, but since all the knives were in perfect shape, I never questioned it. Also, all my bo...

Byrdie Hole?
OK.....I love Byrd knives and read and watch as many reviews as I can....The one point that seems to be universal is the dislike of the Byrd hole compared to the Spydie hole....I just do not get it. Works as good imho as the Spydie one. In fact with gloves on it works better.
Re: ZT
I have a ZT0550 last gen with the steel lockbar insert. Took forever to break in so it could be opened one handed. Now it is butter smooth, zero play. I love Spydeco, but will not sell this ZT.

Re: Does Anybody Ride a Motorcycle or Scooter?
That is pretty cool seeing your dad in 1949. Was he in the Army Aircorps? He may have just been back from the war. A lot of fighter pilots came home from the war and started riding bikes instead of flying planes. Then, they refused to play by the rules and race in the heavily regulated official mot...

Re: H1 Steel Blade Scratch Question
As others here have noted, while H-1 steel is very tough and resilient (And almost magically rust-proof!), if the steel on a knife like the Pacific Salt scratches, am I right in that will NOT have bad effects on its overall performance, or, will the scratches degrade its use as a rust resistant cut...

I stopped smoking years ago....but was smoking weed up until a few years ago. I did some work for a grow operation....security cameras, iPad/Phone control over temp, scrubbing, CO2 levels etc. They were so happy with my work, they named a strain after me. Since it is simi legal here in CA and legal ...

I know it is out of your range, but I feel that the Canon EOS Rebel T5i is a great camera, and a great base to build on. I am not a fan of cameras like the NEX. They take great images, but if the system is abandoned by Sony, you are stuck with what you have. The Canon and the Nikon mount are long ru...

I am in no way friends with Ozzy, but my buddy was his bodyguard when he was filming The Osbourns. I was over there hanging out, Ozzy was a bit high and Sharron made grilled cheese sandwiches for us. I ate mine and Ozzy was screwing around and asked if I wanted what he had left....He would not take ...

I personally would take any test done by hand to be suspect. There are just too many variables.
