Latest GREATEST hard use folder???
Don't need to slice garlic like that mob boss(Paulie) in Goodfellas with a razor blade.
What's does SCo have with a strong pivot, tough enough steel that won't easily chip and hold an edge long enough to say WOW...
PLEASE exclude chisles and prybars....

Re: How Do You Discover New Spyderco Models?
Exactly as the topic says, how do you discover new Spyderco models… without buying them all that is?
I don’t have a store that’s not 2 plus hours away I can visit so I am limited to buying them or the internet. For example I love the G10 Manix, never thought much of the LW, until I got a second ...

Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman
I was TOO BUSY traded options. Think the 245+tax gonna turn into 500+. Could get another Paysan or something with the $ if I want...
Congrats to those that got one and missed out on any of the other offerings that were under 200 back then.
INFLATION SUCKS!!!

Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman
Sadly, half the blades will show up on secondary market for $10 profits...
Only a fool in love would pay $300+ for this one. WAY too many other quality blades can be had for FAR less and with recession creeping up on us people cutting back on unnecessary expenses.

Re: Blade HQ M4/Micarta Shaman
$245 for M4 and Micarata is a HARD pass. No doubt it'll sell out though. Hate playing the run to put in cart and complete order game as well. Besides I have plenty of knives, and probably half dozen M4 ones of similar size, etc...

Re: Why are so many people concerned with perfect blade centering?
I've hesitated posting on here since this complaint has been going on since time immemorial, and both sides do make compelling arguments. I think discourse in here is helpful in a way, to help Spyderco see what can be done to improve the chief complaint of users in this thread, and that is to ...

Re: Why are so many people concerned with perfect blade centering?
Maybe because they spent over $200 for single knife???
I´ll give it one last try, since I find it almost a bit sad how people almost deliberately seem to misunderstand what´s the point here:
That (highlighted) question actually is a bit weird in the context of this thread: Sounds ...

Mostly because a SERIOUS collector and anyone that spends X$ on that "collection" expects that collection to be perfect as it can be.

It's called an AXE/hatchet/tomahawk. So long as it's made of some decent steel and HT properly. OHH and don't whack it on any rocks you should be fine.

Re: Is it possible to sharpen knives by only stroping?
Aren't the bottom of coffee mugs and top of side car glass still a good touch up tool?
I think I mostly just switch knives these days as I have many of them and don't want the others to get jealous. I'll probably touch them up one day soon though.
Yes and no would be the answer. If strop gets it ...

Re: Purchase limits on Sprints/Exlusives
So I saw someone mention this in the pricing thread and thought it deserved it's own discussion.
Would Spyderco be willing/able to encourage/enforce purchase limits on Sprint runs and exclusives? Say 1 per household from a given retailer? I see a lot of people reselling these at a premium on eBay ...
