Rare Police knives ?

I have 3 Police knives that I would like some more info about.

It's a non-chamfered (so 1st gen) with Police model stamped on the blade, the uncoated aluminum version and the FFG in G10.
Are these still readily available, very rare or somewhere in between ? All info is appreciated.

Pics for your ...

If its aluminum it's worth a Pretty penny. Is its the ladder, it's just an old police. The aluminum handled ones are a rare sprint run.

Is it ? Because I have been trying to trade some "rare" Polices for some time now, including an aluminum handled one and nobody seems to respond to it.
Could ...

I wish I could go, but I don't have a car so getting from Maastricht to Amsterdam would be an expensive journey.....
If anyone is going there and is willing to let me tag along then let me know !

LOVE the m3 mokume stuff! Ive made straigh razor spacers and pens out of it, its a great solid feeling material. I would FREAK OUT and buy 10 if there was ever ANY model in red and black "burl" m3. Even just as bolsters with black scales of some sort (ideally cf). That would be a dream.

In fact ...

I'd like to see something completely new like marbled CF. M3 Mokume and C-Tek handle material has really grabbed my attention lately though.

Fake damascus Lava

I just came across this one : http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-MS-CUSTOM-MAD ... 33704519d1

This guy also copies custom makers like Jeremy Marsh and GTC knives.

I'd say yes on the Mili but no on the other two.
Suggestions :

C95 Manix
Chinook
SuperLeaf / SuperHawk
ATR

There are probably a couple of other but these come to mind right now.

You might want to invest/get a copy in a good 3d design software. I have experience with Autodesk Inventor, and am currently working with SolidWorks for school. Takes a bit to get used to, but they are excellent programs. If I had the time I would help you out. Good luck!

Well I ermm acquired ...

You might consider this as well. I recall it's a semi-3d program that's easy to use (well, compared to some):

Yes I've used SketchUp to design a fixed blade which worked out fine. This time I'm trying to create a folder though, this leads to a lot more ...

Using CAD ?

Hey guys,

I have recently made a design that I would like to get "translated" to a CAD file. I only have my pen and paper drawing so far.
Is anyone willing to help me out in this department ?

Why not use multiple forums and reach a bigger audience ?
When I type out a post I just copy and paste it to a couple of forums and see what the outcome is.

+1 on the Ti framelock idea with a nice steel. CMP-M4, Elmax or maybe something like 3V ?
I shouldn't be too expensive though, but I absolutely háte FRN so won't be an option for me.

In the end it always comes down to a balancing act of using cool stuff vs. price.

@ Deacon : I guess it also depends on the country that you live in. I have imported over 50 knives from the US and Canada and every single one of them has arrived. I have exported to the US and Canada without a hitch at least a dozen times.

That being said, I have heard bad things about other ...

Actually shipping from the US to Europe is less then $14 uninsured, so it's not that steep.

Yeah I never tell my GF what any of my knives cost, I just let her take a guess and agree with what she thinks it costs (because it's usually something like 20% of the actual value).
I don't get much hassle because I also sell/trade a lot of knives so in her mind I break even on everything...
