Mississippi River Flood

I don't know if you guys have seen this on the news but the MS river has a possibility to flood over the next couple of weeks. I live 15 miles from the river and it is about halfway up to the levee that was built to contain it. Does anyone else live close to the river? And if so, are you evacuating ...

I must be doing something very wrong because my knife is duller after I strop. Do you lay the bevel flat against the strop?

I would say definately get the Delica 4. Once you fall in love with that one, you will end up getting more.

I took my two kids for a hike yesterday, and that is the only thing they wanted to do. "Daddy, I need to practice carving a stick". My daughter uses a Mora and my son uses a Delica.

I don't have a Sage 2 or 3, but I absolutely love my Sage 1. My spider money is burning a hole in my pocket but I don't think I can get a knife as awesome as my Sage 1.
