maybe the Tuff is made to compete with Strider ? I personally think that an all Ti handle with some pattern on both sides will be better .

If the TUff was all Ti handle it would have been even cooler ! Don't know why spyderco prefers G10 .

I think they can at least show us the last prototype . I know the texture of the Ti will be different from waht was shown . The pivot will be stronger too and the will be a steel insert on the lock . I hope it stays below 200 street price or around 200 .

Yes but spyderco S30 v is harder from what I read , and everybody says that CRK do not hold an edge for long .

S30V is a very good general use steel for people who really use their knives for more than flip toys, pocket jewelry and letter openers. It will hold a nice working edge for a very long time and continue to cut, it just plain works. Personally I think ELMAX and S30V are the two best general use ste...

The mule blade is not so appealing to me . I like the concept ,but it would have been great if it was something like a drop point hunter .Anyway the M4 mule is discontinued ,so is the super blue .

Me too . I want some M4 and It will be great on a small fixed blade . But I want the scales to be attached with screws so that i can change them from time to time . And the blade should be something classic with a hole .

H1 isn't hardened through heat treatment. It's compressed so I'm not sure if heat has any effect on it. The temperature to mess up the heat treat is higher than 212 otherwise people would have bad blades after dyeing their knives. What do you mean with that (dyeing ) . Is it painting ? that is a ne...

heat treatment

Just curious what temperature will spoil the heat treatment of a blade ? For example S30v steel or any cold working steel . Tell me what do you think or know on that question . :)

They are sold by Spyderco directly, I believe they ship internationally This is a link for the current Mule, number 11, of M390 steel. Occasionally Mule blades are resold on eBay.
Do you think they ship to the state of New York ?

I think Spyderco should make a second mule with a differenrt shape of the blade . Something like a droppoint hunter or cold steel espada . And the current one should stay as well . I just think there should be more deversity in this segment . The mule project is great and in that way it will appeal ...

You're paying a premium because it is a dealer exclusive. If KW wasn't the sponsor you would not see a M390 CF Millie at all. What do you mean by that ? Does knifeworks pay spyderco for the knives in advance ? To me and to me only peel ply carbon fiber and G 10 look and feel a lot similar . If it w...

It is veery expensive - I remember benchmade 710 M390 was cheaper (150 $) . And the axis is more reliable than the liner lock .

That has to be done for all coated blades.
Then why the difference ?Do the black coated blades have a lower hardness ?
