If you have no problems taking the knife apart, use a little metal polish like flitz, and polish both inside liners as well as around the pivot hole in the blade. Make sure the washers are clean and dry, lubricate everything, and put it back together. Mine starting getting gritty after a awhile and ...

I would go with a Salt 1 in SE. The 3" blade is perfect for edc and serrated h1 will hold an edge longer than most other steels, plus yellow frn is awesome.

It's an R1. Not exactly a tourer but that didn't stop Nick Sanders using R1's for his multiple, record-breaking circumnavigations. A true iron-butt! I had an amazing tour riding from USA into Canada and back on my Uncle's Harley (FLHC), so I do "get" the cruiser thing. Wouldn't work on tr...

In conclusion, I would not worry about the steel choice: both are excellent steels in my experience, and considering Mr. Reeve had a hand in the creation of S35VN (???), I would be confident in any model in which he chooses to utilize it. The real issue with the Sebbie is the size of your hands - I...

There was major drama about S35vn right when it came out. It supposedly couldn't keep and edge. I believe the main difference is that S35vn polishes better. I have an S30v sebenza and an S35vn native. I really can't tell much difference between them. Someone else with more experience with both may n...

I constantly see anti-weapon signs at movie theaters. I know it is federal law that you are not to carry concealed at the post office and other government property. Does the same extend to movie theaters? What would the legal ramifications be if someone were to have stopped that gunman in Colorado?...

I agree, 154cm is such an under rated steel. I have a few fixed blade with 154 and they perform outstanding. I think the only advantage on the S30v Manix 2 is that it will be full flat ground.

I just picked up a Cat some two weeks ago and have been EDCing it since then and it is a fantastic little knife. It came out of the box shaving sharp and the F&F is spot on. I haven't needed to sharpen it yet after two weeks of taking down boxes, opening letters and other daily tasks and the bl...

Materials aside, if you are just comparing them on dimension and shape alone. The robin 2, Meadowlark 2, and Cara Cara 2 are similar to the D-fly, Delica, and Endura except that the Byrds feature a 50/50 finger choil.

I have heard that the Military, Federal Agencies and LE are buying most of what they are making, but who knows. Along with the yo2, many online retailers can't keep Para2s in, guess its a good problem to have.
