I don't take anything disrespectfully and I hope you didn't either. I feel your thinking is somewhat convoluted, and your examples unrealistic No it isn't and no they're not. Diametrically opposed to yours? Perhaps.. But I think my rationale is pretty clear as was my writing. Everyone has strong opi...

The only thing about IWB for a fixed blade SPROGGY is the closer that knife is to the body, the more difficulty you're going to have in accessing it. Alot of uniformed guys are taking the Tek-Lok off the Clinch Pick and running it in between the inner and outer belts, sandwiched by the velcro, with ...

Craig, What about Style and Shape? considering a FB that works really well for a smaller range of intended application (reverse edge)...Doc I actually would prefer the P'kal blade configured for FB. Why? Unfortunately I cannot elaborate on that on an internet forum other than saying that my reasons...

Spydie/ShivWorks FB Collaboration
Hey guys, I waded through the other thread talking about grips and noticed that there was some interest in a fixed blade design. We have spoken with Spyderco about having them produce ShivWorks knives and so far have only looked at options, without commitment. If you guys are interested in seeing ei...

Just to reiterate my points about commitment, decisiveness and violence of action watch this video. Not knife stuff but a great perpective on mindset. Think about WHY Lance Thomas was so succesful. There's nothing defensive about his tactics at all.

Hi guys. I’m not a regular here but I felt compelled to address some of these issues since I was specifically mentioned. First off let me say that Mike Janich has been very supportive of ShivWorks and me specifically. I consider him a friend and a peer whose contributions to the cutlery and training...

Well I got a chance to meet with Sal over the weekend and look at the mock-up. First off I want to publicly acknowledge Sal and Spyderco's support for this project and thank them for their hard work. They've moved very quickly on this and that's refreshing. Next, I have to say that I'm impressed. Sa...

I hardly ever post here but I think the world of Sal and I'm a Spyderco fan, having carried them in some form or fashion for fifteen years. brachial_stabber I think you just came over to this forum to start an arguement. If you don't like the knife why bother posting? It's pretty easy to sling sh*t ...

Thanks guys I appreciate the replies. After handling one again in Atlanta I really think this knife has alot to offer. If Sal made it in a compression lock it would really rock. If you think about the curvature of that blade and then an insertion and tear out at close quarter (grapple range, it's no...
