Re: 2015 Forum knife request, by popular demand!
I'd be totally into the Millie. No interest at all in a Para.

Re: Thoughts on the PPT sprint
I love the PPT. Even as unlefty friendly as it is, I love it. And I'm pretty much just not into the sprint. I'm not a fan of black blades. I see zero need or use for them...so I will likely pass. I'd rather find one of the original run and buy that. The only way that I'm going to consider this one i...

Re: Any love for the Kiwi 4?
Like I said, cool looking and I do want one...just IMO the Kiwi was a Kiwi because of its looks/blade shape. If this was called something else and another variation of the kiwi released...I'd likely get both.
/
That being said...this new (not a) Kiwi, would benefit from 2mm stock and some SB.

Re: Who else EDC's a UK Pen?
I love the ukpks...the g10 ones were by far the best. I carried mine quite a lot.
I would love to see maybe a sprint in the g10. And the Urban leaf was a killer knife. One of my all time favorite spydies...just wish I could find another one!!

Re: I dislike the Para...I can't be alone
I'm not a PM2 fan at all...never have been. But it is an average sized knife with average everything and so a lot of people like it. IMO it needs some ergo tweaks, a longer blade to balance out the blade to handle ratio, small spydie hole and then the lock needs refining and moving to the other side...

Re: Tea
I do like a good cup of tea and have about 5 or 6 different kinds around. I do like green tea quite a lot. And I find that my pallet tends to really notice the differences between them, especially if they are grown in different countries. There is a little mom and pop tea place near me and I usually...

Re: Factory Second: Would you buy this?
For the cost, I might. Would maybe depend on what steel and I would try to get some info about how much lower the HT is too.
For under forty bucks though. Probably worth the gamble.

Re: Excellent stone holders
Very generous of you Jack, I appreciate the offer, but no need. I'm sure that I'll eventually order some...maybe cheaper on ebay or something. That policy of Amazons seems highly stupid! And yes I could make something similar, but I live in a small studio where there is barely room to cook breakfast...

Thanks Jack. Not bad. Even with shipping and the exchange rate, buying it from amazon.com vs amazon.ca saves about 10 bucks!

Re: KERSHAW 1720- ANYONE?
I always liked the fuselage look that it had. I'm not a huge Kershaw fan, but they do come up with some good designs and ideas. Solid company to deal with too. I have a 3410 that is my watching tv flicking knife...I actually like this one a lot. Comfortable, slim, and in literally thousands of openi...

I've not used mine much, but I do like the steel a lot. I'd like to see it on a folder. Something small...maybe a MW sprint. Micarta scales....be a killer combo.
Welome to the forum.

Re: Sal, please offer Sage1 stealth wire clips for larger ki
While I personally really really reeeeeeally dislike the wire clip (and the immensely ugly gouges it leaves all over the knife), I do agree that deeper carry, non polished would be nice to see on more knives.
The finish on the Bradley Folder is perfect IMO, just need it deeper carry.

Re: Dangers of a Friction Folder?
The ONLY way there MIGHT be any more danger is using a non locking knife is if it binds in something and you pull it out in a way that pulls the blade in the direction it closes in. And with a friction folder, because your hand/thumb in holding the tang down, that is really very unlikely to happen. ...
