Re: Where the Heck Are the Lil' Native Lightweights?

They should be trickling into shops starting today. My old local shop got a few and has shipped one to me. I’d imagine most online shops should be posting them tonight or tomorrow.

Re: Where the Heck Are the Lil' Native Lightweights?

The Lil Native Lightweight is one I’ve really been waiting for. I’ll probably get every steel it’s made in. This thing is going to disappear in the pocket.

In the 80s, I preferred Randy Savage, but I was a huge fan of Hollywood Hulk Hogan and the NWO in WCW.

Rest in Peace.

My Native 5 G10 15v sprint is on its way! This is the 15v model I’ve truly been waiting for (Since the 15v Manix Lightweight came out first, I grabbed it too just in case the 15v supply was cut off earlier than expected).

Re: The Stretch 2XL "Experiment"

Hey Zero,

Do you prefer the greater or lesser weight?

sal

I prefer my FRN knives like the Stretch 2 XL Salt to be as lightweight as possible. The linerless design really gives it an unbelievable weight-to-size ratio. I’ll be double-dipping with the SPY27 version soon, I’m sure (and LC200N if ...

Re: The Stretch 2XL "Experiment"

I’m carrying my Stretch 2 XL Salt today and carried my K390 Stretch 2 yesterday. I’ve used both to cut straps on shipments. There’s no real difference in flex that I’ve noticed.

I do notice the weight difference though.

We're in the process of trying to set up displays in the store of past models we've made across the years. Many are surprised to learn about SpydeRenches, Solo's, Q's, etc.
That would be a really awesome thing to see.

I've been hoping for the same. Manix XL would be the dream but I'd be interested in any model just to try 3v with a Spyderco heat treat.
I second this.

The White G10 scale is being saved for a Damascus version of the UK, just in case you didn't know that? :winking-tongue
Speaking of the white G10, here is my Damascus G10 Urban next to my new Rex 45!

Re: Smaller Manix 2 please

I’m all for a Manix 3/Micro Manix/Lil’ Manix/Minix, preferably in a variety of blade steels.

All I ask is that the model keeps the Caged Ball Bearing Lock. The Lil’ Native Wharncliffe being Compression lock only is a real bummer for my lefty self. I’m glad the lightweight went back to a backlock.

Re: Manbug Wharnie variants?

I voted for 3 that I’d like to see, that I also feel are likely possible given what we’ve seen come out of Seki: K390, PD#1 and H2. I couldn’t choose more than 3, but I’d like to also add LC200N.

I’d like to see each of those hit the Dragonfly Wharnie as well (aside from the K390 wharnie which ...
