fossil steel. inexpensive, keeps pretty good time, been running on the same battery for about 4 years now. only problem I have with it is the second hand never lands on the second ticks as it rotates, always off by about 1/50th of a mm. oh well. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 alig...

People see the rebel flag as a symbol for the confederacy, which it is. When people think confederacy, they think slavery. I've seen people upset over MUCH less likely corrolations so it doesn't suprise me that the rebel flag offends many people. Also I don't see why anyone would take pride in the c...

As many of you know, concept knives for us are 'an idea in a tangible form' which we show to the pub...

I prefer the native as well, but for 25 bucks I can't resist that calypso for a backup. The main thing I like more about the native is the fatter handle and the more pronounced finger choil. I could see my hand slipping onto the calypso blade with heavy work(of course this knife seems to be more of ...

I had actually planend to redo all the 2+ year old dull kitchen knives for my mother when I got my sharpmaker. I whipped it out and grabbed her first knife, and sharpened until the rods needed to be cleaned twice without getting the blade to grip my fingernail. I then gave up. I must of spent half a...

I don't know about quick and easy, but I find the way described in the video works fine. Just get some comet and one of those green scouring pads ands just scrub em up good then wash em off.

When I ordered the calypso I thought it was going to be smaller than it was. I had planned to use it as a small knife for lighter cutting duty. Now I'll have to get a meercat or a cricket for that purpose! ****<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Well, I don't have a dremel. They don't seem that expensive though and they would be usefull for any number of things. Is there any model number you would suggest? Thanks.

My first Spyderco has arrived!

I just got my first spyderco knife and I'm blown away! I had finally decided to order a spyderco, and after some research decided on the plain edged native lightweight. I was looking around online after I had ordered it, and I noticed that eknifeworks.com had the calypso jr. serrated lightweights on...
