Hi Daywalker,

I havent handled a millie or owned one (as yet) but here's my 2 bits anyway.

The best part, i gather, is the cutting ability andthe ease of sharpening a PE.

Hey!! the secret is in the smell!!!
Hyuck, hyuck, Jokes apart i think it has something to do with the kind of cotton used in them. Egyptian cotton i presume? It's absorbs excess oil and leaves the blade and frn clean.
I find it useful.

Ted,
Dunno if it is static... What happens is that there are small slivers (best i can describe it) which linger on the blade edge. It's as though there are small "teeth" on the plain edge where a small portion of the paper sliver is getting wedged.

Dont know if it really is static.

I've been making a mental note to ask this question fro the past two days but ****! It keeps getting lost somewhere...

When i cut paper with my plaine edged Spydie Card, a few slivers of paper get stuck to the blade edge and i have to wipe them off to physically remove them. They wont ...

As far as wiping off goes, I use old jocks. They work well and give a clean and dry finish to the blade.

I also believe i understand the frustration of skcusloa. I guess the right thing to do, sk, is to wait a bit as things will eventually work out inteh end for you.
