My Swamp Rat RMD has those. It was under the coating I stripped off. It's normal on some steels and would be ground/polished off. My guess is on your blade there the dimples went a little deeper than normal and when they ground the blade down to the proper thickness they didn't all get polished out....

I like Machine Gunners lube on my pivots, awesome stuff. I wipe the blades with Ballistol or mineral oil.

Finally caved for the DLT exclusive Delica. Cant believe those are still available.

That really sucks man. My red M390 is my favorite as well. I'm lucky to live somewhere that I can clip the knife to my pocket and not worry about the police hassling me.

I have a maroon VG-10 version. Great little knife, the egos are amazing for being so small.

I like my Blurple Para 2. The color and the steel are in my wheelhouse. If the s110v had come in black scales I wouldn't have bought it though.

Losing a knife always sucks. At least the Endura and Delica are sub $100 knives and are a little easier to replace than other models. So far I have never lost a knife with a pocket clip on it (knock on wood).

The Delica and Para 2 are my favorite Spyderco's by far. Last Spydie I bought was a foliage green partial serrated Delica. My daughter and son-in-law just moved to Amarillo and stopped by Knives Plus there. I've also been to Blade HQ in Utah and was impressed with the amount of knives and the people I delt with at both places.

I have both those PM2 variants. Sounds like you are in a wet environment so I’d pick the blurple model.

That's my next Spyderco. I have a maroon/VG10 from the last sprint run and love it. Ergos on the Meerkat are insane for such a small knife. Great knife.

I can't remember the last Spyderco I got that wasn't stupid sharp. Hasn't mattered if it was from Golden, Japan, Italy, or Tiawan.
