Re: why can't I find a MULE to buy??
ton-of-junk on ebay has mules for sale new in the box for $149. Great seller to do business with from experience. Also call Omaha Knife.com and they probably can fix you up with a lot of unadvertised specials on past Spydercos.

Spydercos have gotten so expensive on my retirement, that I stow all 70 of them away for my daughter to sell when I exit. Have been carrying a Douk Douk.

Re: USN exclusive Lady Bug Hawkbill in toxic green/TiCN
To those of you , like myself, that would prefer not to join the USN forum, I will relate my experience with their Catcherman sprint. Bought from SFO at full retail plus shipping and sold it last year at double the price to a collector who is also not a member. I couldn't get myself to use it. I bou...

Cutting basically the same items such as cardboard, rope, ty-raps, fishing line, etc., daily, SE holds an edge a long time after PE has given up. The knives that I am talking about from my personal experience are, H1 Tasmans and Pacifics.

Re: The GOLDEN ERA OF SPYDERS 1998 to 2003
I, for one have been collecting, trading and selling pocket knives since 1958. When I met Sal at a Blade show in Knoxville Tn, selling sharpeners, when our hair was all black, I was impressed. I bought my first Spyderco at an auto parts store in Avoca, Ia. Sold my older Spydies at Badger knife show tw...

Re: Tale of three hawks
Thanks Sal and Armalite for your comments. I could have used the new style Harpy with the clevis tool when I worked. I bet the dryer vent helps also. I intend to find out when fishing season opens. Well, the Harpy went back in my pocket. Sal, I would have thought I had died and went to heaven if I w...

You can see pictures of the difference that I'm talking about on clicking Cutlery Shoppe's SS Cricket pictures between serrated old one and plain edge new. The Nishigin ones also have the difference. Thanks for any replys.

Lost one of SS crickets. Replaced with new. Noted that indent in lockbar and wider clip. Does anyone know what year this change was made? Definately made it better.

Fake Auto Valloton?
Dellsmart.com is selling auto Vallotons with the Spyderco warranty and boxes. They will be at the MidAmerica center this weekend, Council Bluffs, Iowa. Is this a legitimate business? I wouldnt think they would be warranted.
