Re: Poll: CPM MagnaCut

USA - I'd buy 2 to save on shipping (If I could get them)

I'd put custom scales and pins on one for myself and on one as a gift.

I watched and waited a long time for MT31 and didn't get one of those :(

I was diligently watching the mule web page for the K390 to become available. http://www.spyderco.com/edge-u-cation/index.php?item=13 It never did. What's up with that? I really wanted one of these. How are you supposed to know when they become available if they're not even listed on the page where ...

I like the full flat grind on many of my spydies. The FFG makes slicing a pleasure, and with today's steels, the knives are still strong enough to handle hard work. I enjoy the FFG attribute most on my two military models (XHP and M390). They've become my favorite EDCs.

I received my Southfork from HKS yesterday, 7/7. It's a fine specimen. I'm very pleased.

My invoice was for $252.27, bringing my total cost up to $262.27, after counting the $10 pre-order deposit. (not $272.27 as referenced above.)

After just missing the original pre-order, I went back and forth with support trying to get one from the first batch that people decided not to buy; but, missed a small, one-day purchase window on those. Support let me know a second wave was coming and, fortunately, when the 59 finally became availa...

I couldn't get past the smurf blue; although, the price was a factor too. I'm glad I held out for the CF M390 Military instead. I also have a nice green 204P P2 on order at a price that seems more reasonable to me.

I don't have a definitive answer for you; but, assuming they're tempered the same way, they should perform very much the same. I have a couple of the M390 mules that I haven't run through their paces yet. The M390 and pending 204P should both be great blades. K390 should be even better but will requ...

Several months ago, Sal said the K390 for mules was on order. Has anyone hear if it was received? I'm ready to plop down the cash for two of them as soon as they're available. I've already got the green Para2 in 204P on pre-order so I'm more eager to hear about the K390.

Thanks everyone, especially Sal. I appreciate Spyderco doing its best. Its best is very good! Sal jumping in with an occasional update does generate excitement. One of my reasons for visiting the forum daily is to find out what's new. I occasionally look at the "breaking news" section whic...

Single List of Projected Availability Dates

It sure would be nice if there was a single location on the Spyderco site that listed projected release dates for all new Spyderco products to include exclusive runs, sprint runs, mules, new regular-product runs. Those that are projected far into the future could be a range of months. Those that are...

Amongst other typical pedestrian functions, I used my Para2 in 20CP to open the KW express mail box housing a new, flawless, Military M390 in black carbon fiber. Definately the high point of my day.

I decided to try my hand at making a sheath for my new Cruwear Mule. What better way to start using the knife than to cut out the leather that will hold it. The Cruwear steel cut well. The sheath is glued together waiting for one last leather working tool to arrive before it can be sewn up and place...

Chuck, now that I have a handle on mine I plan to use it. My only obstacle at this point is that I have no good way to carry it around. If the steel performs well, I'll probably keep it in my hunting pack and use it as my default hunting knife. Who makes a simple, inexpensive; but reasonable quality...

Thanks, I'm pleased with the way it turned out. Yes, they're 3/16th inch pins. And, yes, they're filled with epoxy that I colored black. I Googled around for hints on how to make them. Turns out they're pretty easy. I have enough left over for two more sets of three pins.
