I'm 17 and i carry every time i leave the house. What i'm carrying can vary from a manix to a zt 0301, just act responsibly and you'll have no troubles. Also, if you fear people spotting the pocket clip just dump the knife in your pocket, its still relatively easy to draw and no one will notice it.

I'd say the sage series Not necessarily delica-like but they come with choils and wire clips They're in the same ball park size-wise and you get 3 different handle/ lock options with an s30v blade to complement it all Only problem i see is the price difference between a sage and a delica but if you ...

Oh no, I ordered in Jan from KC, I thought it was in the bag, now I'm wondering what my chances are. And the reviews just stoke the want so much more. This was going to be my first Para and so I could compare it to a Manix 2 to see which I like better. I still am hoping my order will come through. ...

Hate to be debbie downer but your chances at the knife through a legit retailer are slim to none with a pre-order now. If I were you I'd start fishing the 'bay for some, before demand drives em up over $200. Sorry for the bad news.. Yeah no prob, I figured the same anyways but it was a wild chance ...

Cts Para 2 Pre-Orders

Hey all, Just wondering if anyone that pre ordered the gray para 2 sprint from kc has received a shipping confirmation yet. I pre ordered with high hopes about 2 days ago since the knife was still up for pre order on kc (I think some of you guys did the same) :p I figured they would just send me an ...

Ewww VG-10? Lol. Ok. Welcome to the forums :) Buy a H1 one. They sell on eBay for $250-320 these days. A vg10 one is going to be VERY similar minus the rust part. Just don't leave it in the sea. I agree with a tough tool steel but then it's harder to sell to the public. Mall rats don't like patina ...

I have a few Mayhems along with most all the :spyder: balis --- any kind of "curved" handles detracts from the "flipableity" but the Mayhems are SUPER GREAT EDC balis. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b199/Jailbird123/Bladed%20%20Weapons/KS6.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/album...

Bradley Mayhem Balisong

Anyone here a bali flipper? If so, do any of you guys have experience with the Bradly Cutlery Mayhem? Just picked one of these babies up from CS, titanium handles and S30V were too tempting at such a good price from CS (As always :) ). I've been wanting to get into flipping for a long time and I've ...

Thanks for the replies, looks like I'm going with the sharpmaker since its a little bit more affordable (1) I take my 30 degree 'back-bevel' all the way to the Spyderco ultra-fine rods, and this gets this portion wicked polished. SQSAR, when you say that you take it all the way you mean that you go ...

Micro bevel / polished edge questions

Hi everyone, I recently chipped a good chunk off the tip of my Manix, in addition to letting the Manix and the rest of my knives pretty dull. I've been looking into sharpeners and think I am going to go with the Triangle Sharpmaker. However, once i get my knives nice and sharp i want to make sure th...

Hello, I highlighted the part of your post I'm asking about. I planning getting a Manix 2 in a few days. You said you closed the knife using both fingers on the lock. I assume that means thumb and index finger? My question is can't you close the knife usning only the thumb on one side of the knife?...

I'd pick the GB over the manix 2 by virtue of the CPM-M4. This thread. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=714931 If the steel is the only problem, check out bentoboxshop.com Exclusive Tan G10 CPM M-4 steel Manix 2 sprint (600 pcs.) I don't have a GB but I am loving my Manix 2 so +1 ...

Good news gents!! I found a little t10 torx bit that's supposed to be used with a power drill in my garage. Managed to loosen and re-tighten the pivot on the Manix and now it opens and closes even more smoothly than before  . I also managed to get the Manix perfectly centered, this was botheri...

kk just followed up with some of the other ideas you guys suggested

So far, cleaning/lubing hasn't had any effect but I have a good feeling that tightening/loosening the pivot might work.

Now I just have to go buy a set of torx screws :(

Nope it was all the way closed. But the drop did cause it to open about halfway out.
