I'm 17 and i carry every time i leave the house. What i'm carrying can vary from a manix to a zt 0301, just act responsibly and you'll have no troubles. Also, if you fear people spotting the pocket clip just dump the knife in your pocket, its still relatively easy to draw and no one will notice it.

I'd say the sage series

Not necessarily delica-like but they come with choils and wire clips
They're in the same ball park size-wise and you get 3 different handle/ lock options with an s30v blade to complement it all

Oh no, I ordered in Jan from KC, I thought it was in the bag, now I'm wondering what my chances are. And the reviews just stoke the want so much more. This was going to be my first Para and so I could compare it to a Manix 2 to see which I like better. I still am hoping my order will come through ...

Hate to be debbie downer but your chances at the knife through a legit retailer are slim to none with a pre-order now. If I were you I'd start fishing the 'bay for some, before demand drives em up over $200. Sorry for the bad news..

Buy a H1 one. They sell on eBay for $250-320 these days. A vg10 one is going to be VERY similar minus the rust part. Just don't leave it in the sea.

I agree with a tough tool steel but then it's harder to sell to the public. Mall rats don't like ...

I have a few Mayhems along with most all the :spyder: balis --- any kind of "curved" handles detracts from the "flipableity" but the Mayhems are SUPER GREAT EDC balis.

Good news gents!!

I found a little t10 torx bit that's supposed to be used with a power drill in my garage. Managed to loosen and re-tighten the pivot on the Manix and now it opens and closes even more smoothly than before :cool: .

kk just followed up with some of the other ideas you guys suggested

So far, cleaning/lubing hasn't had any effect but I have a good feeling that tightening/loosening the pivot might work.

Now I just have to go buy a set of torx screws

Looks like I'm going to have to send in the knife, I'd rather not mess around and disassemble it.

Nope it was all the way closed. But the drop did cause it to open about halfway out.
