Re: How many knives do you pack?

That would be 3...all Spyderco's.
A Dragonfly G10 in my shirt pocket. I use it when in an office.
A Paramilitary 2 in my right pants pocket.
A Matriarch 2 in my left pants pocket.

Re: Harpy G10 find

I either lost or had my G-10 Harpy stolen about 2 years ago and I've been extremely grieved ever since>> it was my constant companion Hawkbill blade for years and I so much want a replacement for it about more than I want any other Spyder at this point. Many years ago a man said, " when you fi...

Re: Harpy G10 find

What's the knife shop in Lakeland? I live in the area and would love to go to a local shop. PM sent to you. I will be back down on Labor day weekend to visit the kids and pick up a double bevel. Just as Spyderco makes great knives, Bob Terauola designs are very nice. I have one of his fixed blade C...

And all I have is this one. If it wasn't for the fact that the Civilian and Paramilitary have my attention, the Manix series would!

Harpy G10 find

Well, I had to go to the Tampa area for a hospital visit on my daughter. After all was well, I took my son, and grandson on a trip to Lakeland and visit a knife shop there. While looking at the knives I found this little jewel in the case. When I saw it, I was thinking I have heard about this one on...

It was a tie...4 in one shop! http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m532/rapidray10x/IMG_1440_zpszi5zrp5i.jpg Pushed me over the edge, been on the fence with the Civilian. Re: Civilian 2 Wish List - what would be today's perfect Civilian?

The bottom choil would be used more for "memory" and not safty as your hand is now even futher away from the blade. More so that when your pinky falls into the choil you know where your at. H1 steel...I could see using this as a lot of people live on coastal waters and would be a good opti...

Re: Civilian 2 Wish List - what would be today's perfect Civilian?

A Civilian XL...I would say add an inch longer on the blade...it would still fit into pants pockets and cargo pockets. Two finger choils...one near the top and the second near the bottom...this would give you a second hand position and extend the reach of your blade. Clip position set higher and lo...

The secret to these knives is mind set. If you have the mind set, you will be ok. My two...the Civilian I picked up to day and the Matriarch 2 I have carried but may start carry the Civilian.
