numbering on sage 1 box

Just picked up a new Sage 1 and was curious what the lettering system is. My box says the standards C123CFP, but under the sage designation is the letters HO. I've seen some boxes with FI and was curious as to their meaning. Anyone know?

Re: Prices Friends and Free Stuff

HUZZAH, a great post for a great team. I was involved in the printing and media world long enough to know photographing, editing and the layouts in producing those catalogues on that stock and then mailing them is a serious undertaking. Brilliant.

Re: Wire clip or stamped ?

Hated the wire clip until I owned one. Sage 2. Now I have a hard time going back. Sage 1. So, it is with great humiliation that I say, I was utterly wrong.

when young you kinda carry the attitude "I'm right. You're wrong." when you get older you adopt a much much softer approach and encourage, not discourage. Barring that, age lets you adopt the philosophy "meh," and go about your business...

Hi Johnnie,
Had an airline here called Wardair and they did just that. You surrendered your knife and they gave it back to you upon arrival. That was in the early '80s, a much more civilized and "common sense" time...

I've had my Opinel 9 for the better part of 35 years. Served me well, until I honourably, retired her. It now resides in my box of treasures, but take it out on occasion to admire its simplicity.
