False. I don't own a mule.

The next person uses their Spyderco knives more than their kitchen knives when cooking.

I've heard of stropping on your palm. The only time I saw someone do it was at the cutting competition at the Blade show. It was years ago so I don't remember who it was or at what stage in the competition.

In my opinion, they're one of the...if not the best value in their price range. Over the past few years I've bought and given away more than a few. I've carried a Delica for over 12 yrs now and have many other Spyderco knives. I've started most of my friends carrying knives after they liked mine and...

I didn't realize how many Byrd knives I have and have given away as gifts until thinking about it because of this thread. I'll have to say my favorite is likely the Meadowlark 2 with the FRN handle. Not much of a surprise since the Delica was my EDC for well over a dozen years.

Today I used my Tenacious to make feather sticks to start the bonfire we got going. Sharpened a couple of sticks for marshmallows to. Also cut up some cardboard boxes to toss onto the fire after it was roaring. :)

I've carried a CE Delica for almost 15 yrs now and have no real complaints. I started carrying the CE because I used to have a constant use for the serrated portion of the blade but still liked having some plain edge. I don't really have that need anymore but the knife still takes care of my EDC nee...

With the food allergy frenzy in my son's school - the PTA and Administrators seem to be screaming about killing someone with an actual peanut. A PBJ sandwich seems to elicit the same type of reaction you'd get from whipping out a Warrior in the cafeteria... TedP Oh, that would never do. ...

Well this guy was born and has always lived in the city. He's never been camping and it wasn't until a week or so ago that he bought his first flashlight. We had storms come through not too long ago and he sat for days in the dark. I talked him into getting something. Not sure what he bought though....

Apparently to some, any knife is a weapon

So I generally carry a Delica 4 and a Case Peanut along with a SAK on my keychain. I work in an office so only the peanut is in pocket during work hours. Last week I was talking to a co-worker about car kits, survival bags and so on. He's been talking about how he wants to set his and his wife's car...

I've been a Spyderco user for many many years. Never carried a slipjoint until this year. To prove a point to a friend last weekend I used my peanut to make feather sticks for the fire. Worked just fine. I've found that it's certainly a "little big knife". It has a lot more cutting edge th...

I carry a Case peanut every day along with whatever other knife I have with me. I have a black one in SS and a yellow one in CV. I'm pleased with both actually. Just have to pay more attention and give a little more care to the CV because it's not stainless. But after carrying an Opinel for so long ...

My Salt 1 is the knife in my pocket when I exercise on the trails after work every day. It does get soaked in sweat and that's why I chose that particular model. The Delica is my EDC so the Salt makes a perfect companion if it's going to stay soaked for any length of time.

Mine quit working completely. Oddly enough it wasn't a light I used often but I kept a fresh battery in it. Went to do my random check on gear as usual and it turned on for less than a second and then nothing. It certainly wasn't abused or battered. It's virtually new. Kind of a bummer.
