Hello antoine! Nice to see French guys in this forums!
Your knife is very elegant and it reminds me that it made a long time I didn't come to the Ile-de-Ré!

Personnally, I only use the medium stones to a bit damaged blades. For daily sharpening, I just use the fine white one.

I mean always as you are open to many types of question about Spyderco, which is more than appreciable. And I think you're still very available on Spyderco forums, even if your time must be busy. I really care about pleasant communication between brand and customers. It’s purely the best way to acqu...

Thanks Sal, appreciate that you are always available for any kind of questions.

Edit: I had forgotten ZDP-189 when I post my supposition about Japanese steel, VG-10 is actually not the only one of course.

Yes, I think it’s what Sal wants to say ( handle steel), but just to be sure. Even if COO is not a decisive point to make me buy this or this model of Spyderco, all Spyderco (and Byrd!) comes with quality, I think it’s pretty cool and interesant point to know where parts of our favorite :spyder: kni...

Thank you for your full explanation about COO in general and for Spyderco, Sal! I totally agree that it’s more interesting to know country where it was made than the country where it was bought… Second one is a non-sense for me. Much of the materials that we use in Japan, Italy and Taiwan actually c...

Manufacturing process

Hello Spyderco fans, I’m pretty sure that I have already seen message about this on the Web, but a lots of people seems to be disagree. The heart of Spyderco line is produced in Japan. But is it just the country of origin of materials (blade steel VG-10, FRN, etc.), or the country of origin of mater...

Hi Spyderco fans! I’m happy to post for the first time in the official Spyderco’s forums since even if I EDC an Endura 2 since years, and newly an Endura 4. As I’m a French Spyderco fan (Spyderco is a also popular in France for knives-lovers), I only posted on French knives forums before I registere...
