my favorite stropping thingy for out and about is a piece of cardboard from a watermelon box. it's almost an inch thick and does a wonderful job.

Re: Your most comfy boot...
i really like the rocky s2v. not as soft as the running shoe type boot but after walking around a prison 8-16 hours my feet felt better than others. great padded insole and support. they also breathe well. the only boy or shoe that my feet never sweated in. unfortunately when it gets cold they still...

Re: Death Penalty/Capital Punishment: Does it work as a deterrant to violent crime and murder?
having worked at san quentin for the last 22 years, and now retired, i had a small part in 11 executions. six hours before the execution i opened the tube door to let the escort detail out from the last visit to the long walk to the chamber. also working with condemned inmates i have a bit of insigh...

i like the 1 inch thick corregated cardboard from watermelon boxes. the produce guy at the store gladly cut a piece for me. i then showed him how he could strop his box cutter.

Re: Best Spydie for backyard steak ...
i use a military for all of my meat cutting needs when camping and at restaurants such as ruths chris etc. i use it nonchalantly and lay it on the side of the plate just like the dull one they give me. no one batts an eye. at charlie palmers i had a busboy notice it and said he really liked benchmad...

i bought this many years ago in a little shop in the french quarter that had a lot of used watches. i've been wearing it ever since including 22 years at san quentin. working, not a resident. the sapphire crystal has banged around a lot on bars and concrete walls and has never scratched. it is 42 mm...
