I will buy any Para2 with upgraded steel. You can always change the scales out later.

Buy one, carry it , use it.

The last time I took one apart, I used the CRK grease like glue. The washers just stuck and stayed in place. It only takes a little.

I've had the s90, 20cp and m390 para 2's. I like them in reverse order, but that's just my opinion.

I had a gray para. I carried it daily for about 8 months. I used it for everything from cleaning fish to cutting 2"thick limbs off of an oak tree. I had a 30 degree inclusive bevel on it. Nice stag. I like the M390 blades too. I can't wait to try the carpenter version when it comes out. I haven't dulled my para enough yet to warrant a resharpening. I've just had to strop it and it comes back to hair popping sharp.

I agree with the op. I really have lost interest in other knives since this design came out. I get every sprint or exclusive that comes along. I wouldn't hold my breath on them modifying anything on this design.

To me the manix2 was a pocket hog and the ergos on the para 2 fit me much better.

I'm not sure how many people see that as an issue (it really isn't an issue for me). If it arrives in good condition and doesn't fall apart in the first week (before any mods) then the chances are good that it isn't going to need the warrantee. I'm pretty sure it's stronger than a liner lock. They are not the same technology. I find the comp lock the easiest to open and close without ever touching the blade or having my fingers in the way. Just my opinions

Redrunner, I'm not telling Sal how to run his business and I paid MSRP for my CF p2. I appreciate him doing the sprint runs. I'm also not telling him what steels to use or how many he should make, my post was more like a wishlist.

Hey Sal, if you read this I hope you increase the size of the next sprint if you make a p2 with any of the following steels- elmax, s110v, m390, s10v, m4, cpm154.

They sent me mine last Monday. Shipped it on Sat and I received it on Mon. I love it when people ship them quickly.

I saw a s90v mili that went for over 400 a while back.
