I love the Lil Temp. It's one of my favorite Spyderco designs and I own at least 75 different Spyderco. Mine is buttery smooth and has perfect lockup.

Wiha. I have taken apart something like 5,000 Spyderco knives and that is all we use and trust.

Re: Dear Sal, a question about that floating stop pin..
It's too bad Sal lacks your keen intellect otherwise he could have really done something with his life and accomplished something. What took you so long? It seems like a drastically better design than the screwed together stop pin. I have a pretty good selection of knives with both styles of stop pi...

Re: PM2 Pivot screw stuck. And I mean STUCK. SOS.
Use a dremel and cut a flat slot in the screw head and use a flathead screw driver to spin it out. You will likely ruin you scale in the process, but since you are replacing it then it likely doesn't matter.

Re: So someone saw my pocket clip and -- "You carry a knife!"...
I taught Jr. High for 7 years and had a Spydero in my pocket every single day I was there. Only twice did students notice I have a clip in my pocket (I mostly carried something with a wire clip (Manix LW, Caly, or UKPK) Both times I said it's a Spyderco and they both said cool, my dad has one of tho...

Re: Very Disappointed
I have taken thousands of PM2s apart and 99.999% of the time if a screw strips, it's because the driver used is junk. I use Wiha drivers and pretty much never ever have problems. Also, having seen so many PM2s I would say in general the quality has gone up in the last 3-4 years.

Re: Techno Discontinued
If you want one now is prob. the best time to buy and still get a good price...as dealer inventories deplete then prices will jump as supply dwindles.

Here is maybe a bit of proof that when dealers can actually make just a little bit on the brand that you are going to attract a wider and better quality dealer base.

Re: Domino & Dice Owners; please read
I have sold hundreds of the Domino and Dice and we inspect every knife for function before shipping. Not one single issue have I seen, and no returns from customers based on this. Read/Watch review stuff with a huge grain of salt.

Re: Techno to be discontinued
He said "At some point they'd discontinue the Techno" which is a big difference between saying it's being discontinued. Saw Eric Glesser mention in the knifecenter video that the Techno 2 will replace the Techno in the line up and that the Techno will be discontinued. Bit of an own goal if...

You know I was just taking time out of my busy day to give a different perspective on things and defend a great company like Spyderco. I am pretty well versed in business and the knife business in particular, but think what you want. About the "If the dealers disappear, Spyderco is toast" ...
