I have worked with all the spray on coatings out there I think....Cerakote is my preferred coating and I have done A LOT of knives and other tactical gear with it. So far everyone is happy. Well...at least no one has complained to me or on the boards about my work. Post up some questions or PM me......

Thanks all!!! I try to think outside of the box and do things that I like....I have some pretty wicked pieces out there but I am getting back to the more subdued colors.

I have a pink factory second that I picked up....I like it but I blacked out the liners. I also blacked out my original Orange Manix 2. Both are done with Cerakote....a ceramic based firearms finish....same stuff some of the big names use on there production blades. http://i291.photobucket.com/album...

I just got the itch to learn how to anodize....toxic green is in the future...of course I can do it now with Duracoat but I want to learn a new trade......MORE TOXIC GREEN!!!!

I can take the production model and black out the hardware with Cerakote.

I did my orange mili that way....wouldn't be hard to black out the whole thing or get a black mili and do the hardware.

Cerakote is a firearms finish that is available through NIC Industries. You need to order it from them....use a media cabinet with 120 grit aluminum oxide.... get a HVLP spray gun and go at it.....OR....you can email me....I do this as a side business!
