"Very nice pic you took - thanks for the eye candy." Thank you Jazz. Mostly an accident with help from a new, little, capable camera. "How do you like the color?" I like the color quite a bit. Seems like a good neutral color to me. Doesn't stand out as much as a black handle. I w...

The lockup feels solid to me. No blade play, no up and down or back and forth motion. The single-piece molded FRN handle is fairly rigid and captures the blade and back lock well. Opens and closes smoothly. Mike

Received My Wayne Goddard Lightweight Today - I Like It

Just thought I'd say I received my Wayne Goddard Lightweight today. I'm liking it a lot. A very simple, clean, simple, light design. Fits well in my hand. Good steel and I really like the blade shape. Of course, always to my delight, the edge grind is even and hair shaving sharp. This one will stay ...

I was over at Howe's website and noticed they just put one in stock. I was going to try to resist but then came across this thread. It was just enough to push me over the edge. Now I have one on the way. Great video Connor, so this is partly your fault. Thanks guys. No, really. I'm excited. Mike

Cliff, your scientific approach is very much appreciated. Many could benefit from a little (more likely, a lot of) science and scientific thinking. Your video is clear, concise, and easy to follow as well as informative. I enjoyed and learned from it. Thank you. Mike

The original post really did set me off. It took me awhile to respond in even a somewhat civil manner. Judging by the recent posts, it appears that maybe I'm a bit touchier than I thought. Something I'll have to keep in mind in the future. Anyway, I appreciate the even tempered responses and apologi...

It's good to get feedback on this. Maybe I am a bit too thin skinned. Thank you. Mike

Well, tccrawford, for someone who claims to like Spyderco and their products, you have managed to kick them in the teeth and (as your stated desire in your Youtube video) cost them financially and all in your very first post on the forum. From the Spyderco Forum guidlines: • Do not harass, threaten,...

I noticed this also. Didn't the notice say they were doing an upgrade or maintenance to their site? I called them to order scales but forgot to ask them about the site. Mike

I saw those also. Looks like he does a pretty nice job with them. They seem quite a bit thicker (maybe too thick for me?) than the Halpurn scales which are on all of my Mules. Was thinking about trying a set though. I actually just purchased a knife from this same maker. Mike

I just took delivery of the Les George VECP fixed blade in 3V the other day. I like it, though I have not had a chance to use it a lot yet. I don't have much experience with 3V, but from what I've experienced, read and heard so far, it seems like good stuff. Most of the knives I've seen using 3V are...
