Very nice! Enjoy and safe riding. Things are finally warming up a bit in the Northeast. It's time to get mine out and on the road. It's a low power Honda Rebel but enough to satisfy my desire to ride without going into hock :) . I actually owned one of those once . Sweet bike for a 250 . They were ...

Also if you are using the lansky setup I recommend getting the sapphire stone ( 2000 grit ) they offer . It will help immensely with removing the wire burr ( false edge ) . When you get the true edge sharp you will see a very noticeable improvement in edge retention

I get good edge retention on my delica 4 vg-10 . I stay at 30° conclusive (15 per side) and for my use it holds up well . MY stretch 2 zdp-189 holds an edge longer but vg-10 is probably in my opinion the best all around , user friendly general use steel that I've used. It's easier to sharpen and sup...

When I bought my first Delica 4 vg-10 , around 6 months or so ago , I followed the advice of some of the people on this forum and went with a saber grind. For my use at work it was the right choice . Now I also take a stretch 2 zdp-189 ffg to work quite often and I have not had any problems with it ...

I love the Stretch. And ZDP is great stuff...I think that the Stretch is the perfect knife in many ways. I would have to agree with you there ... I love this knife . The funny thing about it was it never just jumped out at me . I was wanting something in zdp-189 and thanks to someone one from this ...

Sounds like your dust and fines may have polished the moving parts? I must echo your enthusiasm for that knife. The ZDP Stretch always brings a smile to my face. A couple days ago it brought a cut to my face though (I decided to try and shave with it...and it did quite well, but I got the tip/point...

no pitting that I can see and no chipping on the edge . I'm sharpened at a 30° conclusive
no mcro-bevel . and it held up fine ..What surprised me was that it was still sharp enough to shave arm hair after that workout ... very impressed . :)
