I really like my Chosera 1K. It is very well balanced, if you need to touch up it can take a decent amount of steel off or if you are VERY VERY light it polishes beautifully!

I always have my Matriarch my right pocket. ALWAYS! My left pocket always has a straight edge but I swop out various favorites there.

Following the advice of several in here, I tried the CF M390 "regular" Millie and learned/got used to using it with my left hand. In fact the same general grip works as well for the PM2, so I ended up not needing a "lefty" version after all. Will What locking mechanism is the CF m390 Millie? I've f...

I always carry 3 knives: a large straight edge (Millie is perfect), a hawkbill fully serrated, and a small old lady friendly knife such as cricket.

Right tool for the right job!

A compression lock military, in m390 or something similar would probably be my most wanted knife!

I love my lefty Millie but with all the new steels, s30v doesn't get much pocket time anymore!

Edge Pro and wicked edge sharpeners are highly regarded by a lot of people. I prefer edge pro but want a Wicked edge as well anyway!

Much bigger learning curve than sharp maker but with practice excellent results.

Im left handed and I find the compression lock on para 2 to be one of my favorites! I would call it ambidextrous but if it had a bias I would say it suits lefties better! Why do you say it's a pain? How do you release the lock? I hold knife parallel to ground, blade facing down, release the lock wit...

I did my smurf at 15 deg per side with 20 deg per side micro bevel. It holds up really well, no micro chipping so far with moderate use. I did damage the tip slightly being a dumbass but that wasn't the steel or profiles fault!

I saw some of his custom knives at a show recently. Was especially impressed with his nitrobe 77 blade steel.

I like spyderco a lot but will definitely be ordering a custom lefty from him in nitrobe!

I purchase a lot of goods in the states that is not shipped to my country(south Africa) so I use a forwarding agent. They give me a local(USA) adress and all my orders are sent to them and they forward to me. They can consolidate more than 1 order into 1 box to save on shipping. I use shipito.com bu...

I also recently received the 0561 in elmax. I really love this knife, I never thought I would get a knife which I want to edc more than my M390 para mil! The summery of differences is very accurate, the ZT is VERY strong, built like a tank! This is my first flipper and I LOVE it!!! My fingers are ra...

I've been thinking about designing a sharpner with all the good aspects of edge pro and wicked edge combined, then add a few things that they can be better at, don't know if it's a pipe dr...

Here's the link for demo for pro model. MadRookie has actually taken the angle cube(different post!) and confirmed that using this method the angle is VERY accurate, regardless of stone thickness.

Here is something I’ve noticed with edge pro... I needed to raise the pivot about ½ to 1 degree on the EP to get the stone to hit the bevel exactly the same as the EP stone. Picture in your mind if the DMT stone/blank combo was 1” thick, how high it would raise the stone holding arm on the EP which...
