Hi, I have a Spyderco Spyderfly Balisong, which I like very much, but unfortunately the spring that pops the latch open broke and had to be removed. Is there any possibility for Spyderco to send me a replacement spring? I know it's a discontinued model, but maybe you still have some in store or ...

If they ever managed to get around all the problems and actually got around to making one somehow, I'd love to see a good, solid, back loaded, single action, double edged symmetric one with better button placement than the Microtech Nemesis. Great idea. I have a Spyderco WT Karambit and it works so great with the zip wave. I like the compact size of the Karahawk too, hope it'll become a hit.

I never got one simply because of the handle. It was too flat and wide to feel comfortable in my hand. Granted, I have small hands, but still, the ergos didn't work for me at all. I love karambits, and I love Spyderco, and I'd love to have a spyderco karambit, but it'd still be a hard decision if ...

I'm very curious, so I thought I'd bring this up again. Any new developments on the design? The sheath? Is it very far from release?

What if you make a nice FFG hawkbill blade, similar to the Superhawk (maybe slightly slimmer) and put it in a modified Stretch 2 handle? Of course available in full spyderedge and in maybe either FRN or G-10 scales. How does that sound? :spyder:

Might this be a good idea? That flat ground hawkbill blade is so awesome and the handle is also very nice and a lower priced, lightweight version could perhaps be a good way of reaching the people who couldn't afford the original.

Yeah, the owner probably doesn't give a crap, especially since the guy went even further and asked for money when you left. This is one of several reasons why I rarely visit "clubs". I'ts great that Spyderco are concentrating on producing new models, but at the same time, the Janisong model really is a bit too cool to be discontinued in the long run. I would really like to see it come back in a Spyderco version, sooner or later.
