Nice thread to be resurrected on rare forum knives. That may be the Vesuvius that I sold on ebay. If not I hope mine is in good hands. Still love my Spydies-I just had to lighten my load in pursuit of other items I am collecting.

Looks like a cheap Chinese knockoff. The serrations are un-Spyderlike and the hole is unlike any other Spydie. IMO a $2.00 knife.

3"-4" Folder and started in my Cub Scout days with a Barlow knife(many years ago). Use it primarily to open envelopes, boxes, etc. at work.

One other thing when using the Sharpmaker-Do not let the tip slide off the stones as you draw it down. This will quickly cause the tip to round off. So be careful when trying to sharpen near the tip. Once rounded the tip is near impossible to reprofile on your own unless you have great skill.

Sharpmaker 204. Watch the video and take your time. Don't let it get too dull or the Sharpmaker takes a long time.
