Techno 2 in the wild

Just saw on FB someone had a Techno 2...said he’d just bought it from Lamnia and they had gotten a few in. Looked perfect!

Hopefully it’ll be coming to other dealers soon!

to me that looks to be an uncomfortable place to carry.. Wht about bending over?

You can bend over just fine. People make the same statement about carrying a pistol AIWB.

Re: Dragonfly H1 Hawkbill for self defence

There's a reason most knife laws are stricter than gun laws, the police know all too well not to underestimate a knife attack. Knife laws are not, in general, more restrictive than gun laws. The idea that “police know how dangerous knives can be, therefore knives are more heavily regulated” is equa...

Re: Techno vs Techno 2

I’m excited for it. I loved the first, but the thick blade wasn’t ideal, and the ergos weren’t quite right. The Techno 2 handle is similar to the first, but has some noticeable differences. I’m hopeful that it will resolve the issues I had with the original.

Re: The officially unofficial new Techno 2 thread!

Since people still think this.... Oh, I also feel that taking away the lockbar insert is a huge step backwards in quality. There seems to be a lot of confusion floating around about this... The original Techno had a carburized lock face. It was basically ‘heat treated’ similar to the way a Sebenza i...

There seems to be a lot of confusion floating around about this... The original Techno had a carburized lock face. It was basically ‘heat treated’ similar to the way a Sebenza is done. This is not the same as carbidizing. Many of the Taichung framelocks have been carburized, to good effect evidently...

Re: Tip-down (heresy? maybe not...)

Try the PM2 clip from Ripps Garage Tech. It totally changes the ergos on the PM2. It’s very, very low profile, so it makes the clip virtually disappear in your hand.

The world is a dangerous place. It’s the way it was and the way it will be. That way, and not some other way.

Source? I feel like I should recognize that quote, like it’s just at the edge of my mind.

FRN Police.
Say what? Wishful thinking or actual upcoming model?
It’s real. I handled the prototype at Blade.
Ohhh. :D

Any details? P4, or the old school pointy, swedged Police?

Re: Self-coating steel blades

What BFK said. Cerakoting a blade will likely run $35-$45 or so, and by the time you buy three good cans of spray paint, you’re close enough in cost that you might as well do it right.

I liked the Techno but the II looks great as well.

I like that the tip of the blade is pulled down a tad.

I like that the clip location and angle has been changed slightly, should improve the ergos quite a bit.

Donut and others, here is a related question for you: If you are say at a school or professional sports game or movie theater, and say you have a package of candy or some snack, and you want to use your folder to open it, would you try to so do as unobtrusively as you can, or just do what makes you...

They are nearly always accessed via email link, so don't log in to any page from your email, do it from the browser.

Why don't you do a google search for "avoiding phishing schemes" and learn about this?

Flytanium

Anyone use any of Flytanium's products? I got one of the Ti PM2 lanyard tubes for Christmas and installed it yesterday. http://i1049.photobucket.com/albums/s400/Studey/9C0C1C19-B266-4822-AC24-E12B6CC04388_zpsvxoeresh.jpg http://i1049.photobucket.com/albums/s400/Studey/3850A776-AC81-4C2D-82EE-CA22859...
