Thanks, everyone :) Chad, I'd forgotten about the line "Smile, smile when you think of me", thanks  Part of what happened to me was that I ripped my back out on one side, moving my safe out of my ex's place (about 225 lbs). I slid it and lifted at the same time  After about three...

Missed you all

Hi! I havn't been around for a while and may not be able to get here very often for a while (no Chad, it's not "ATout Le Monde".... :D ). I miss everyone, and the chance to ask questions; I have been going through :spyder: withdrawls :o . I hope to be back on a regular basis soon, but for ...

Severedthumbs, That is one awsome knife! But, it makes my point, for me at least. The occasion would be so rare for me to carry a knife like that, that I might as well spend the money on several :spyder: 's that I would actually use. if I put one scratch on a knife like that I'd be pi$$ed for, well,...

I can't really picture a knife that I would have a use for that would cost more then $200.00. I would say less, but I'm leaving room for what the super hawk bill may cost. I used to think I was collecting Spyderco's but have used all but the forum DiAlex Adventura ( I did carry this one to church on...

I drive my work van; a Ford Aerostar, man tran, 3.0, 1988, looks like **** but it's a work van. Crammed a full sized Chevy van worth of stuff inside it ( about 1.5 tons worth) and besides needing a new tranny (estimates vary, between $800.00 and 1700.00) it works. I never would have thought thet a 3...

There are a lot of very interesting thoughts going on here :) We are somewhere in infinity . That's one to burn out some brain cells trying to comprehend. The fact is, it is incomprehensable. There is no # to use in any equation, so, there is no math for infinity. Probability cannot be determined, p...

Swissknife, after seeing the movie "What the Bleep Do We know?", and for many other reasons, I feel like I "know" that there is a lot more going on then we can see. If asked to prove it, I would be able to proove it as much as I can prove that there is God/A Higher Power; I can't...

It's not just you. I clicked by normal bookmark and got the message you described. The message asked me to hit reload, and this worked.

SE oldstyle (molded FRN clip) Endura. Black, then red, then the illusive OD.
Waiting, along with everyone else, for the Endura-4 (and another run of Tasmans, dang those went fast! :( ).

I used to use the blade on my plain old Gerber multi, because it had a partially plain edge and all the :spyder: 's I carried were SE. Now I use my PE Native and never use the MT blade.
I use the pliers a -lot-.

"Contact" was just on HBO and I watched it. I figured out that I'd seen it before, but it was still pretty good. Personally, I find it impossible to believe that we are the only life...anywhere. I also strongly believe that there are alternate realities, concurrent in time (a flexable conc...

Ok, all seriousness aside, this gets complicated  ... My stepsister and I decided that 40 is too old, so, we made a pact that we would start counting backwards when that time came. I was 39, then I was 39 again..... :D I'm now 37 and will be 36 in March ;) . I still ride an oldschool skate...

This is sort of a bump. This topic has come up before but still no Chief... :o I would seriously jump to get one of these as the Native has always been one of my favorite :spyder: 's.
