I love the Lava and I cant wait for the sprint run.... I'm all in on this one! I"m really digging the screw together construction. I've had several Lavas and 2 of them developed some side to side play. I've sold them off hoping for a good "user" but like most stainless models, the sid...

Thanks guys, I found myself not being a fan of serrations and since the blade had already been "re-tipped" I figured, what the heck... I really like to EDC this blade now. I'm thinking of either black canvas Micarta or an OD Green g-10 for scales?

Any suggestions?

Thanks Guys, I'm pretty happy with it.... It needs a little more work but it's about 90% done. If i can drill the pins, i'll put some nicer scales on it.

Modded Police G-10 serration removal / new grind

So I have this Police G-10 that had a broken tip....Well, this is what happens when work is slow and the espresso maker is humming. It had a bit of a weird sheepsfoot tip that was put on it .....Never really loved it. I was a bit frustraded and this poor little guy sat on my shelf for 2 years, I al...

I did a scotch brite treatment to the Lg Sebbie and left the Unmun alone :D

Love my Para 2's and I love my CRK's CRK actually encourages you to take apart and clean your knife..... I love how it goes back together, just snug it up and it's the same every time, no "tuning" involved. Use it like you hate it and sharpen it like you love it. I say, go for it! Look aro...

A big +1 on the sharpie trick. I would also suggest getting a 10x loupe. Sometimes you think you are getting all of the sharpie but there is still some there at the very leading edge. If there is ANY sharpie visible at the edge, even a faint hint if it you are not getting it as sharp as you can... B...

Wow, nice to see love for the Apple here. I was strictly a PC guy around 4 yrs ago, got my first iPhone and never looked back. If I did a 3 yr side by side comparison of my HP laptop vs my MacBook pro.... Let's just say my Apple producs have all functioned slicker than a sardine's whoozit... I swear...

Nice snag on the waved Delica.... Or is it an Endura? So, you should have absolutely no problem taking that bent clip off and straightening it out. You can use a large pair of pliers to pinch it from the end where the screws are and just give it a little bend. Place it back on the knife and see if y...

Been using an edge pro apex, really like it. I use the Sharpmaker for the 40 deg touch ups.... Can't beat it. As far as angles go, usually (but not always) the thin blades and harder steels can take a pretty crazy (steep) angle, like ZDP-189. I have my CF Walker down to a 22 deg back bevel with a 30...

The H.E.S.T. 2.0 is a beast of a knife and all of it packed in a 3" blade. The bottle opener acts great as a wave function as well. Customer service is absolutely spot on! I've had zero problems with my 2.0 This link should answer most of your questions http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthr...
