Re: I will now EDC only SE for 6 months.

ive had reactions from different models ive carried at work but over time and talking with people about knives and my collection and use of them most seem to accept it and i dont get much more reaction now than the "which knife you got today?" type questions.

i often get to that hair whittling edge in my sharpening process, then it seem more often than not i make the mistake of stropping it just one more time for good measure and its back to square one or settling for just scary sharp. :D it really isnt that important once ive achieved it i can live with...

i made a couple of them using some old leather work belt and glued to a couple pieces of oak trim i had laying around. prior to that i just stropped on a old belt sans any compound. with the two i now use i apply a lighter compound on it for softer steels and lighter touch ups, on the other i use a ...

im glad you can get your knife back. im shure if push came to shove the cop was probubly within his rights to confiscate the knife and do more than cite you for drinking in a public place or public intox. as far as i can tell a waved endura is a weapon in many states here in the US. not shure about ...

you might have to slot it with a dremel to get it out, assuming you can get a screw to replace it. were you just trying to adjust tension? try this on for size, a soldering iron tip pressed to the screw till the screw is plenty hot, then using a new grippier allen wrench try loosening. the heat shou...

stone washing would remove it, stropping it on some 800/1000 grit paper. i have a brkt gunny that has a good amount of forced patina on it, just normal amount of stropping has removed some of it. i think if removing it was intended stropping on sandpaper would be the safe bet.
